消滅了烈火的威力，逃脫了刀劍的鋒刃，軟弱變成剛強，在戰爭中顯出大能，把外國的軍隊擊退。

“那起來攻擊你的仇敵，耶和華必使他們在你面前被擊敗；他們從一條路出來攻擊你，必在你面前從七條路逃跑。

藉著你，我攻破敵軍；靠著我的神，我跳過牆垣。

既是這樣，我們對這一切還有甚麼話說呢？神若這樣為我們，誰能敵對我們呢？

你們一人可以追趕千人，因為耶和華你們的神，照著他應許你們的，為你們作戰。

你們必追趕仇敵，他們必在你們面前倒在刀下。你們五個人必追趕一百人，一百人必追趕一萬人；你們的仇敵必在你們面前倒在刀下。
