熄灭了猛烈的火焰，刀下逃生，由软弱变为刚强，作战勇猛，击退外敌。

“耶和华必使来犯之敌败在你们面前、溃不成军、四散逃命。

我倚靠你的力量迎战敌军，靠着我的上帝跃过墙垣。

对于这些事，我们还可以说什么呢？上帝若帮助我们，谁能与我们对抗？

你们一个人能打败他们一千人，因为你们的上帝耶和华照着祂的应许为你们争战。

你们将追赶仇敌，使他们倒在你们刀下。你们五人要追赶一百人，一百人要追赶一万人，他们必死在你们刀下。
