The men of the outpost shouted to Jonathan and his armor-bearer,“ Come up to us and we’ll teach you a lesson.” So Jonathan said to his armor-bearer,“ Climb up after me; the Lord has given them into the hand of Israel.”

The men in the Philistine camp shouted to Jonathan and the young man carrying his armor. They said,“ Come on up here. We’ll teach you a thing or two.” So Jonathan said to the young man,“ Climb up after me. The Lord has handed them over to Israel.”

And the men of the garrison hailed Jonathan and his armor-bearer and said,“ Come up to us, and we will show you a thing.” And Jonathan said to his armor-bearer,“ Come up after me, for the Lord has given them into the hand of Israel.”

The men of the garrison called to Jonathan and his armor-bearer.“ Come on up, and we’ll teach you a lesson!” they said.“ Follow me,” Jonathan told his armor-bearer,“ for the LORD has handed them over to Israel.”

So the men of the garrison responded to Jonathan and his armor bearer and said,“ Come up to us and we will inform you of something.” And Jonathan said to his armor bearer,“ Come up after me, for the Lord has handed them over to Israel.”

Then the men of the garrison called to Jonathan and his armorbearer, and said,“ Come up to us, and we will show you something.” Jonathan said to his armorbearer,“ Come up after me, for the Lord has delivered them into the hand of Israel.”

And the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armorbearer, and said, Come up to us, and we will show you a thing. And Jonathan said unto his armorbearer, Come up after me; for Jehovah hath delivered them into the hand of Israel.

When you hear a sound like marching feet in the tops of the poplar trees, be on the alert! That will be the signal that the Lord is moving ahead of you to strike down the Philistine army.”
