于是他们两人就让非利士的守军看见他们。非利士人说：“看，希伯来人从他们躲藏的洞里出来了！”

於是他們兩人就讓非利士的守軍看見他們。非利士人說：「看，希伯來人從他們躲藏的洞裡出來了！」

二人使非利士戍卒見之、非利士人曰、希伯來人出所匿之穴矣、

二人遂出、使非利士人觀瞻。非利士人曰、希百來人素匿於巢穴、今已出矣。

So both of them showed themselves to the Philistine outpost.“ Look!” said the Philistines.“ The Hebrews are crawling out of the holes they were hiding in.”

So Jonathan and the young man let the soldiers in the Philistine camp see them.“ Look!” said the Philistines.“ Some of the Hebrews are crawling out of the holes they were hiding in.”

So both of them showed themselves to the garrison of the Philistines. And the Philistines said,“ Look, Hebrews are coming out of the holes where they have hidden themselves.”

When the Philistines saw them coming, they shouted,“ Look! The Hebrews are crawling out of their holes!”

When the two of them revealed themselves to the garrison of the Philistines, the Philistines said,“ Behold, Hebrews are coming out of the holes where they have kept themselves hidden.”

So both of them showed themselves to the garrison of the Philistines. And the Philistines said,“ Look, the Hebrews are coming out of the holes where they have hidden.”

And both of them disclosed themselves unto the garrison of the Philistines: and the Philistines said, Behold, the Hebrews come forth out of the holes where they had hid themselves.

When they made themselves known to the Philistine garrison, the Philistines said,“ Look! The Hebrews are coming out of the holes in which they hid themselves.”

Both of them revealed themselves to the garrison of the Philistines: and the Philistines said,“ Behold, the Hebrews are coming out of the holes where they had hidden themselves!”

The men of Israel saw that they were in trouble because the troops were in a difficult situation. They hid in caves, in thickets, among rocks, and in holes and cisterns.

When all the Israelite men who had been hiding in the hill country of Ephraim heard that the Philistines were fleeing, they also joined Saul and Jonathan in the battle.

and they oppressed Israel. Because of Midian, the Israelites made hiding places for themselves in the mountains, caves, and strongholds.
