So Saul said,“ Bring a burnt offering and peace offerings here to me.” And he offered the burnt offering.

於是掃羅說：「把燔祭和平安祭帶到我這裡！」他就獻上燔祭。

掃羅曰、攜燔祭及酬恩祭至此、遂獻燔祭、

則曰、當攜燔祭、及酬恩祭至此。掃羅獻之。

掃羅曰、以火焚祭與平安祭之犧牲、牽至我前、掃羅遂獻火焚祭、

So he said,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” And Saul offered up the burnt offering.

So he said,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the friendship offerings.” Then he offered up the burnt offering.

So Saul said,“ Bring the burnt offering here to me, and the peace offerings.” And he offered the burnt offering.

So he demanded,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the peace offerings!” And Saul sacrificed the burnt offering himself.

So Saul said,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” Then he offered the burnt offering.

So Saul said,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the peace offerings.” And he offered the burnt offering.

And Saul said, Bring hither the burnt- offering to me, and the peace- offerings. And he offered the burnt- offering.

So Saul said,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” Then he offered the burnt offering.

And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.

So Saul said,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the peace offerings.” Then he offered a burnt offering.

Saul said,“ Bring the burnt offering to me here, and the peace offerings.” He offered the burnt offering.

Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.

There you shall take your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the heave offerings of your hand, your vowed offerings, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks.

And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel.

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.

And Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God here”( for at that time the ark of God was with the children of Israel).

But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the Lord your God in Gilgal.”So Samuel said:“ Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, But the prayer of the upright is His delight.

To do righteousness and justice Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

then I said,‘ The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the Lord.’ Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering.”And Samuel said to Saul,“ You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God, which He commanded you. For now the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever.

“ He who kills a bull is as if he slays a man; He who sacrifices a lamb, as if he breaks a dog’s neck; He who offers a grain offering, as if he offers swine’s blood; He who burns incense, as if he blesses an idol. Just as they have chosen their own ways, And their soul delights in their abominations,

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination; How much more when he brings it with wicked intent!

Do not say,“ I will recompense evil”; Wait for the Lord, and He will save you.
