Some Hebrews even crossed the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. Saul remained at Gilgal, and all the troops with him were quaking with fear.

摩西以亞摩哩王西宏、巴山王噩之地、及境內之邑垣鄉里、俱給伽得支派、流便支派、約瑟子馬拿西支派之半。○伽得人建置邑垣、即底本、亞大錄、亞羅耳、押律、說反、雅設、約庇哈、伯寧喇、伯哈蘭、亦作羊牢。流便人建希實本、以利亞利、基烈亭、尼破、巴力免、悉馬、有易其名者、有仍其舊者。馬拿西子、馬吉之後裔、往基列、驅逐亞摩哩人、而據其地、摩西即以其地錫之、使處其中。馬拿西子睚耳、取諸鄉里、稱之為哈物睚耳、挪巴取基納、與其鄉里、稱之為挪巴。

耶和華必使爾為敵所敗、爾合一處而去、必分七途而遁、播棄於天下億兆之中。

族長亦必告民曰、有人畏葸怯心、則必旋歸、恐其同儕喪膽、與彼無異。

我必拒爾、使死於敵前、憾爾者將虐爾、無人追襲、爾亦遁逃。

我耶和華喑鳴叱咤、威若猛獅、我民疾趨、自西而至、歸誠乎我、彼將疾趨、至自埃及、如鳥之翔、來自亞述、若鴿之飛、俾居厥所、我耶和華已言之矣。

當告民云、如有畏葸恐懼者、速歸基列、歸者二萬二千、留者一萬。

摩西賜業與伽得支派、循其世系、其界自雅設與基列諸邑、亞捫族地之半、至喇巴相對之亞羅耳、自希實本、至拉末、密士巴、及庇多寧、更自馬哈念至底必界、在谷中之伯亞蘭、伯寧喇、數割、撒分、及希實本王西宏地之半、沿約但河濱、至基尼烈海隅、在約但東、以上所載、伽得族之業、與其邑鄉、循其世系。摩西賜業與馬拿西支派之半、循其世系、其界自馬哈念、巴山王噩之通國、與巴山境內睚耳、六十鄉里。又基列地之半、及巴山王噩境內之亞大綠、以得來二邑、俱歸馬拿西子馬吉裔之半、循其世系。

爾曹猶有孑遺、處於敵國、必使爾心畏葸、風吹葉落、偶聞其聲、則懼而遁、若避鋒刃、即無追者、亦必隕沒。自相蹂躪、如擊以刃、拒敵無能。

流便支派、伽得支派、牲畜成群、見牙設基列二地、堪為游牧之所、乃就摩西、及祭司以利亞撒、暨諸會長前、曰、亞大錄、底本、牙設、寧喇、希實本、以利亞利、示班、尼破、庇穩、斯地也、即耶和華助以色列族所取者、堪為游牧之所、僕等有群畜、倘得沾恩、請以斯地錫我為業、毋庸我渡約但。

亞嫩河濱、亞囉耳土壞、基列山之半、及其所有之邑、我儕得之、以與流便伽得二支派。
