“ After Jacob entered Egypt, they cried to the Lord for help, and the Lord sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your ancestors out of Egypt and settled them in this place.

“ After Jacob’s family entered Egypt, they cried out to the Lord for help. The Lord sent Moses and Aaron. They brought your people out of Egypt. They had them make their homes in this land.

When Jacob went into Egypt, and the Egyptians oppressed them, then your fathers cried out to the Lord and the Lord sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your fathers out of Egypt and made them dwell in this place.

“ When the Israelites were in Egypt and cried out to the Lord, he sent Moses and Aaron to rescue them from Egypt and to bring them into this land.

耶和華不悅、曰、利未族人亞倫為爾之兄、我知其善說辭、今出迓爾、見爾必喜。汝必告以所當言、我將助汝二人說辭、所必行者、吾以示爾曹。亞倫必為汝告民、彼之於爾、代播言詞、爾之於彼、代為上帝。

歷年既久、埃及王薨、以色列族因服役良苦、太息號呼、聲聞於上帝。上帝聞之、追念素與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立之約、

告眾曰、以色列族之上帝耶和華云、昔我導爾出埃及、援爾於埃及人手、四方之民虐遇爾曹、我亦援爾。

我祖往埃及、居彼日久、埃及人以患難加於我祖、爰及我儕、

強乃志、壯乃心、昔我誓厥祖、欲以斯地賜斯民、汝必使民得之、

於是雅各及我列祖、咸往埃及終焉、

撒母耳告民曰、昔挺生摩西亞倫導爾祖出埃及之耶和華為證。

是日耶和華拯以色列族、脫於埃及人手、埃及人之屍浮於海濱。以色列人目擊之。耶和華以大能降罰於埃及人、以色列族見而寅畏、篤信耶和華、亦信其僕摩西。

是日耶和華導以色列兆民、出於埃及。

維彼選民、導至聖地、將得斯山、以為恆業兮、異邦之民、悉彼驅逐、所得之業、以繩量度、俾以色列之支派、各居帷幕兮。

雅各離別是巴、眾子以法老所遣之車載其父、爰及妻孥。雅各驅群畜、攜迦南所有之貨財、及女子與孫戚族、咸至埃及。

欲使爾知永生上帝左右爾、必於爾前驅逐迦南人、赫人、希未人、比哩洗人、革迦撒人、亞摩哩人、耶布士人。宇宙主宰之法匱、必先爾至約但河中。宜簡以色列族各支派中十有二人。待舁宇宙主耶和華法匱之祭司、足履約但、河水則水自溯行、其流必斷、濤若堆立。○

埃及人虐遇以色列族、其籲上聞於我、我已鑒之。今將遣爾見法老、導我民以色列族、出於埃及。

上帝兮、粵若古昔、爾行異跡兮、維予列祖、傳之於予、予聞而知之兮、爾施大力、降災於異邦而驅逐之兮、爾使選民、安居厥所兮、斯民得土、不恃戈兵、不藉人力、乃爾巨力大能、眷顧而祐之兮。

昔耶和華命摩西亞倫、導以色列族兆民、出於埃及、自後告法老導民出境者、即其人也。○

耶和華諭亞倫曰、詣野迓摩西。乃往迓之於上帝之山、接吻為禮。摩西以耶和華遣之、使行異跡、告於亞倫。摩西亞倫遂招集以色列長老。亞倫以耶和華命摩西言告長老、行異跡與民前。民篤信之、既聞耶和華眷顧以色列族、矜其患難、無不稽首崇拜、

使有異邦、其所經營之地、彼得而享之兮、

我僕摩西逝世、爾今導民濟約但、至我所賜以色列族之地。昔我與摩西曾有是言、今必踐之、爾足所履之地、必以錫爾、自曠野及利巴嫩、至百辣大河、赫人遍地、爰及大海、日入之處、為爾境界。
