“ After Jacob entered Egypt, they cried to the Lord for help, and the Lord sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your ancestors out of Egypt and settled them in this place.

“ After Jacob’s family entered Egypt, they cried out to the Lord for help. The Lord sent Moses and Aaron. They brought your people out of Egypt. They had them make their homes in this land.

When Jacob went into Egypt, and the Egyptians oppressed them, then your fathers cried out to the Lord and the Lord sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your fathers out of Egypt and made them dwell in this place.

“ When the Israelites were in Egypt and cried out to the Lord, he sent Moses and Aaron to rescue them from Egypt and to bring them into this land.

“ When Jacob went to Egypt, your ancestors cried out to the LORD, and he sent them Moses and Aaron, who led your ancestors out of Egypt and settled them in this place.

And moreover, behold, he is coming out to meet you; when he sees you, he will be overjoyed.So you are to speak to him and put the words in his mouth; and I Myself will be with your mouth and his mouth, and I will instruct you in what you are to do.He shall speak for you to the people; and he will be as a mouth for you and you will be as God to him.

Now it came about in the course of those many days that the king of Egypt died. And the sons of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry for help because of their bondage ascended to God.So God heard their groaning; and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

and he said to the sons of Israel,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ I brought Israel up from Egypt, and I rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the power of all the kingdoms that were oppressing you.’

that our fathers went down to Egypt, and we stayed in Egypt a long time, and the Egyptians treated us and our fathers badly.

Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

And Jacob went down to Egypt, and he and our fathers died there.

Then Samuel said to the people,“ It is the Lord who appointed Moses and Aaron and who brought your fathers up from the land of Egypt.

So the Lord saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.When Israel saw the great power which the Lord had used against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord, and they believed in the Lord and in His servant Moses.

And on that very day the Lord brought the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt according to their multitudes.

So He brought them to His holy land, To this hill country which His right hand had gained.He also drove out the nations from them And apportioned them as an inheritance by measurement, And had the tribes of Israel dwell in their tents.

Then Jacob left Beersheba, and the sons of Israel carried their father Jacob and their little ones and their wives in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.They also took their livestock and their possessions, which they had acquired in the land of Canaan, and came to Egypt, Jacob and all his descendants with him:his sons and his grandsons with him, his daughters and his granddaughters, and all his descendants he brought with him to Egypt.

And Joshua said,“ By this you will know that the living God is among you, and that He will assuredly drive out from you the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Hivite, the Perizzite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, and the Jebusite.Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is crossing over ahead of you into the Jordan.Now then, take for yourselves twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one man for each tribe.And it will come about when the soles of the feet of the priests who carry the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan will be cut off, that is, the waters which are flowing down from above; and they will stand in one heap.”

And now, behold, the cry of the sons of Israel has come to Me; furthermore, I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them.And now come, and I will send you to Pharaoh, so that you may bring My people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt.”

God, we have heard with our ears, Our fathers have told us The work that You did in their days, In the days of old.You with Your own hand drove out the nations; Then You planted them; You afflicted the peoples, Then You let them go free.For by their own sword they did not possess the land, And their own arm did not save them, But Your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your presence, For You favored them.

It was the same Aaron and Moses to whom the Lord said,“ Bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their multitudes.”

Now the Lord said to Aaron,“ Go to meet Moses in the wilderness.” So he went and met him at the mountain of God and kissed him.Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord with which He had sent him, and all the signs that He had commanded him to do.Then Moses and Aaron went and assembled all the elders of the sons of Israel;and Aaron spoke all the words which the Lord had spoken to Moses. He then performed the signs in the sight of the people.So the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord was concerned about the sons of Israel and that He had seen their affliction, they bowed low and worshiped.

He also gave them the lands of the nations, So that they might take possession of the fruit of the peoples’ labor,

“ Moses My servant is dead; so now arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel.Every place on which the sole of your foot steps, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses.From the wilderness and this Lebanon, even as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and as far as the Great Sea toward the setting of the sun will be your territory.
