他们答道：“你没有欺骗、压迫过我们，也没有拿过任何人的东西。”

他们回答：“你没有欺负过我们，没有虐待过我们，也没有从谁手里取过什么东西。”

他们说：“你没有欺压过我们，没有压榨过我们，也没有从任何人手中收取过什么。”

眾人說：「你未曾欺負我們，虐待我們，也未曾從誰手裏受過甚麼。」

眾人說：「你未曾欺負我們，虐待我們，也未曾從任何人手裏收過任何東西。」

眾人說：「你未曾欺負我們，虐待我們，也未曾從任何人手裏收過任何東西。」

他們答道：「你沒有欺騙、壓迫過我們，也沒有拿過任何人的東西。」

他們回答：“你沒有欺負過我們，沒有虐待過我們，也沒有從誰手裡取過甚麼東西。”

眾人說：『你未曾欺壓過我們，未曾壓制過我們，也未曾從任何人手裏取過甚麼。』

他們說：「你沒有欺壓過我們，沒有壓迫過我們，也沒有從任何人手中收取過什麼。」

僉曰、爾未嘗欺我虐我、亦未嘗受何物於人手、

眾民曰、爾未嘗挾制我、未嘗暴虐我、未嘗受人之物、

“ You have not cheated or oppressed us,” they replied.“ You have not taken anything from anyone’s hand.”

“ You haven’t cheated us,” they replied.“ You haven’t treated us badly. You haven’t taken anything from anyone.”

They said,“ You have not defrauded us or oppressed us or taken anything from any man’s hand.”

“ No,” they replied,“ you have never cheated or oppressed us, and you have never taken even a single bribe.”

“ You haven’t wronged us, you haven’t mistreated us, and you haven’t taken anything from anyone,” they responded.

And they said,“ You have not exploited us or oppressed us, or taken anything from anyone’s hand.”

And they said,“ You have not cheated us or oppressed us, nor have you taken anything from any man’s hand.”

And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken aught of any man’s hand.

And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of any man’s hand.

They replied,“ You have not wronged us or oppressed us. You have not taken anything from the hand of anyone.”

They said,“ You have not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither have you taken anything from anyone’s hand.”

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act,making your righteousness shine like the dawn, your justice like the noonday.

At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent. (niv)
