敬畏耶和华是智慧的开端；所有遵行这些的都有美好的见识。对耶和华的赞美将存留到永远。

要知道，我们的神实在是吞噬的烈火。

敬畏耶和华是知识的开端，愚妄人藐视智慧和管教。

愿我的心在你的律例中纯全，好使我不致蒙羞。

所以弟兄们，我藉着神的各样怜悯劝你们，要把自己的身体献上，做为圣洁、蒙神喜悦的活祭；这是你们理所当然的事奉。

耶稣看见拿旦业向他走来，就指着他说：“看，一个真正的以色列人！他里面没有诡诈。”
