如果你們敬畏耶和華，事奉祂，聽從祂的吩咐，不違背祂的命令，你們和統治你們的王都願意跟從祂，一切都會順利。

你们若敬畏耶和华，侍奉他，听从他的话，不违背他的命令，你们和治理你们的王也都顺从耶和华你们的神就好了。

如爾畏耶和華、聽從其命、不背其道、則治爾之王、爰及爾曹、俱蒙爾上帝耶和華錫嘏。

如爾敬畏主、奉事主、聽主之言、不違主之命、則爾與治爾之王、必蒙主爾天主之引導、

If you fear the Lord and serve and obey him and do not rebel against his commands, and if both you and the king who reigns over you follow the Lord your God— good!

But you must have respect for the Lord. You must serve him and obey him. You must not say no to his commands. Both you and the king who rules over you must obey the Lord your God. If you do, that’s good.

If you will fear the Lord and serve him and obey his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the Lord your God, it will be well.

“ Now if you fear and worship the Lord and listen to his voice, and if you do not rebel against the Lord’s commands, then both you and your king will show that you recognize the Lord as your God.

If you fear the LORD, worship and obey him, and if you don’t rebel against the LORD’s command, then both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the LORD your God.

If ye will fear Jehovah, and serve him, and hearken unto his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of Jehovah, and both ye and also the king that reigneth over you be followers of Jehovah your God, well:

「所以，你們要敬畏耶和華，誠心誠意地事奉祂，摒棄你們祖先在幼發拉底河那邊和在埃及所拜的神明，專心事奉耶和華。

「你們若全心順服你們的上帝耶和華，謹遵祂今天藉我吩咐你們的一切誡命，祂必使你們超越天下萬國。你們若聽從你們的上帝耶和華的話，以下的福氣必臨到你們，追隨你們。「無論你們住在城裡還是鄉村，都必蒙福。「你們必子孫昌盛，五穀豐登，牛羊成群。「你們的籃子和揉麵盆都必蒙福。「你們必出入平安。「耶和華必使來犯之敵敗在你們面前、潰不成軍、四散逃命。「耶和華必使你們凡事蒙福、五穀滿倉。你們的上帝耶和華必在祂賜給你們的土地上賜福你們。「你們若遵守你們上帝耶和華的誡命，遵行祂的旨意，祂必按自己的誓言使你們成為祂聖潔的子民。天下萬民將看出你們是耶和華的子民，並懼怕你們。「在耶和華向你們祖先起誓要賜給你們的土地上，祂必使你們子孫昌盛、牛羊成群、五穀豐登。耶和華要為你們打開天上美好的倉庫，使你們風調雨順、凡事蒙福。你們必借貸給多國，卻無需向別國借貸。你們若聽從你們的上帝耶和華藉我今天吩咐你們的誡命，謹慎遵行，毫不偏離，也不隨從、供奉別的神明，祂必使你們做首不做尾，居上不居下。

如果你們背棄耶和華，去拜外族的神明，儘管祂曾經恩待你們，也必降禍給你們，毀滅你們。」

耶和華對摩西說：「你把以下條例告訴以色列人。「在你們或寄居在你們中間的外族人中，如果有人把子女獻給假神摩洛，必須處死他，當地的人要用石頭打死他。我也必嚴懲那人，將他從民中剷除。因為他把子女獻給摩洛，玷污我的聖所，褻瀆我的聖名。如果那地方的人對此置之不理，沒有處死那人，我必嚴懲那人一家，從民中剷除他和那些追隨他與摩洛苟合的人。如果有人求問靈媒或巫師，與他們苟合，我必嚴懲，將他從民中剷除。你們要潔淨自己，做聖潔的人，因為我是你們的上帝耶和華。你們要遵行我的律例。我是使你們聖潔的耶和華。「咒罵父母的，必被處死。他咒罵父母，必須承擔自己的罪。如果有人與別人的妻子通姦，姦夫淫婦必須被處死。如果有人與父親的妻妾同寢，就是羞辱他的父親。要把二人處死，他們要承擔自己的罪。如果有人與兒媳同寢，二人都必須被處死。他們亂倫，要承擔自己的罪。如果男人與男人同寢，好像男人與女人同寢一樣，他們的行為可憎，必須被處死。他們要承擔自己的罪。

凡是恆心行善、尋求榮耀、尊貴和永恆福分的人，祂要把永生賜給他們；

要告訴義人：他們有福了，必得善報。

因此我就任憑他們頑固不化，為所欲為。但願我的子民肯聽從我，以色列人肯遵行我的道。那時，我必迅速制伏他們的敵人，伸手攻擊他們的仇敵。憎惡我的人要在我面前屈膝投降，永遠沉淪。
