But Saul replied,“ No one will be executed today, for today the Lord has rescued Israel!”

掃羅說：『今天一個人也不可被處死，因為今天永恆主在以色列中施行了拯救。』

但掃羅說：「今天不可殺人，因為今天耶和華在以色列施行了拯救。」

掃羅曰、今日耶和華於以色列中施行拯救、一人亦不可殺、○

掃羅曰、今日耶和華救以色列族、毋行殺戮。

掃羅曰、今日主在以色列人中行拯救、在以色列人中行拯救或作使以色列人得勝不可殺人、

But Saul said,“ No one will be put to death today, for this day the Lord has rescued Israel.”

But Saul said,“ No one will be put to death today! After all, this is the day the Lord has rescued Israel.”

But Saul said,“ Not a man shall be put to death this day, for today the Lord has worked salvation in Israel.”

But Saul ordered,“ No one will be executed this day, for today the LORD has provided deliverance in Israel.”

But Saul said,“ Not a single person shall be put to death this day, for today the Lord has brought about victory in Israel.”

But Saul said,“ Not a man shall be put to death this day, for today the Lord has accomplished salvation in Israel.”

And Saul said, There shall not a man be put to death this day; for to- day Jehovah hath wrought deliverance in Israel.

But Saul ordered,“ No one will be executed this day, for today the Lord has provided deliverance in Israel.”

And Saul said, There shall not a man be put to death this day: for to day the LORD hath wrought salvation in Israel.

But Saul said,“ No one will be killed on this day. For today the LORD has given Israel a victory!”

Saul said,“ No man shall be put to death today; for today Yahweh has rescued Israel.”

Have you forgotten about the time he risked his life to kill the Philistine giant and how the Lord brought a great victory to all Israel as a result? You were certainly happy about it then. Why should you murder an innocent man like David? There is no reason for it at all!”

But Moses told the people,“ Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again.

“ Who asked your opinion, you sons of Zeruiah!” David exclaimed.“ Why have you become my adversary today? This is not a day for execution, for today I am once again the king of Israel!”

That is how the Lord rescued Israel from the hand of the Egyptians that day. And the Israelites saw the bodies of the Egyptians washed up on the seashore.

He was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed. So he himself stepped in to save them with his strong arm, and his justice sustained him.

You are my King and my God. You command victories for Israel.Only by your power can we push back our enemies; only in your name can we trample our foes.I do not trust in my bow; I do not count on my sword to save me.You are the one who gives us victory over our enemies; you disgrace those who hate us.O God, we give glory to you all day long and constantly praise your name. But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me— and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.

But the people broke in and said to Saul,“ Jonathan has won this great victory for Israel. Should he die? Far from it! As surely as the Lord lives, not one hair on his head will be touched, for God helped him do a great deed today.” So the people rescued Jonathan, and he was not put to death.
