此後、爾至神邱、神邱或作天主之基比亞在彼有非利士人之營、爾既入邑、必遇一群先知、自崇邱而下、其前有鼓瑟者、擊鼓者、吹笛者、彈琴者、俱感神而言、

“ After that you will go to Gibeah of God, where there is a Philistine outpost. As you approach the town, you will meet a procession of prophets coming down from the high place with lyres, timbrels, pipes and harps being played before them, and they will be prophesying.

“ After that, you will go to Gibeah of God. Some Philistine soldiers are stationed there. As you approach the town, you will meet a group of prophets. They’ll be coming down from the high place where they worship. People will be playing lyres, tambourines, flutes and harps at the head of the group. The prophets will be prophesying.

After that you shall come to Gibeath-elohim, where there is a garrison of the Philistines. And there, as soon as you come to the city, you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and lyre before them, prophesying.

“ When you arrive at Gibeah of God, where the garrison of the Philistines is located, you will meet a band of prophets coming down from the place of worship. They will be playing a harp, a tambourine, a flute, and a lyre, and they will be prophesying.

“ After that you will come to Gibeah of God where there are Philistine garrisons. When you arrive at the city, you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place prophesying. They will be preceded by harps, tambourines, flutes, and lyres.

Afterward you will come to the hill of God where the Philistine garrison is; and it shall be as soon as you have come there to the city, that you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and a lyre in front of them, and they will be prophesying.

After that you shall come to the hill of God where the Philistine garrison is. And it will happen, when you have come there to the city, that you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with a stringed instrument, a tambourine, a flute, and a harp before them; and they will be prophesying.

現在你們給我找一個彈琴的來。」彈琴的時候，耶和華的靈就降在以利沙身上。

約拿單攻擊在迦巴的非利士人的防營，非利士人聽見了。掃羅就在遍地吹角，意思說，要使希伯來人聽見。

掃羅打發人去捉拿大衛。去的人見有一班先知都受感說話，撒母耳站在其中監管他們；打發去的人也受神的靈感動說話。

住耶利哥的先知門徒就近以利沙，對他說：「耶和華今日要接你的師傅離開你，你知道不知道？」他說：「我知道，你們不要作聲。」

掃羅到了那山，有一班先知遇見他，神的靈大大感動他，他就在先知中受感說話。

大衛和眾首領分派亞薩、希幔，並耶杜頓的子孫彈琴、鼓瑟、敲鈸、唱歌。他們供職的人數記在下面：亞薩的兒子撒刻、約瑟、尼探雅、亞薩利拉都歸亞薩指教，遵王的旨意唱歌。耶杜頓的兒子基大利、西利、耶篩亞、哈沙比雅、瑪他提雅、示每共六人，都歸他們父親耶杜頓指教，彈琴，唱歌，稱謝，頌讚耶和華。希幔的兒子布基雅、瑪探雅、烏薛、細布業、耶利摩、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亞他、基大利提、羅幔提‧以謝、約施比加沙、瑪羅提、何提、瑪哈秀；這都是希幔的兒子，吹角頌讚。希幔奉神之命作王的先見。神賜給希幔十四個兒子，三個女兒，都歸他們父親指教，在耶和華的殿唱歌、敲鈸、彈琴、鼓瑟，辦神殿的事務。亞薩、耶杜頓、希幔都是王所命定的。

住耶利哥的先知門徒從對面看見他，就說：「感動以利亞的靈感動以利沙了。」他們就來迎接他，在他面前俯伏於地，

住伯特利的先知門徒出來見以利沙，對他說：「耶和華今日要接你的師傅離開你，你知道不知道？」他說：「我知道，你們不要作聲。」

先知門徒對以利沙說：「看哪，我們同你所住的地方過於窄小，

以利沙又來到吉甲，那地正有饑荒。先知門徒坐在他面前，他吩咐僕人說：「你將大鍋放在火上，給先知門徒熬湯。」

我要側耳聽比喻，用琴解謎語。

希幔、耶杜頓同着他們吹號、敲鈸，大發響聲，並用別的樂器隨着歌頌神。耶杜頓的子孫作守門的。

女子回答說：「在這裏，他在你們前面。快去吧！他今日正到城裏，因為今日百姓要在邱壇獻祭。

王又派利未人在耶和華殿中敲鈸，鼓瑟，彈琴，乃照大衛和他先見迦得，並先知拿單所吩咐的，就是耶和華藉先知所吩咐的。利未人拿大衛的樂器，祭司拿號，一同站立。希西家吩咐在壇上獻燔祭，燔祭一獻，就唱讚美耶和華的歌，用號，並用以色列王大衛的樂器相和。

這樣，派歌唱的希幔、亞薩、以探敲銅鈸，大發響聲；派撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、烏尼、以利押、瑪西雅、比拿雅鼓瑟，調用女音；又派瑪他提雅、以利斐利戶、彌克尼雅、俄別‧以東、耶利、亞撒西雅領首彈琴，調用第八。

亞倫的姊姊，女先知米利暗，手裏拿着鼓；眾婦女也跟她出去拿鼓跳舞。米利暗應聲說：你們要歌頌耶和華，因他大大戰勝，將馬和騎馬的投在海中。

要用角聲讚美他，鼓瑟彈琴讚美他！擊鼓跳舞讚美他！用絲弦的樂器和簫的聲音讚美他！用大響的鈸讚美他！用高聲的鈸讚美他！凡有氣息的都要讚美耶和華！你們要讚美耶和華！

為首的是亞薩，其次是撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、瑪他提雅、以利押、比拿雅、俄別‧以東、耶利，鼓瑟彈琴；惟有亞薩敲鈸，大發響聲；

你們要追求愛，也要切慕屬靈的恩賜，其中更要羨慕的，是作先知講道。

大衛和以色列眾人在神前用琴、瑟、鑼、鼓、號作樂，極力跳舞歌唱。

大衛和擡約櫃的利未人，並歌唱人的首領基拿尼雅，以及歌唱的人，都穿着細麻布的外袍；大衛另外穿着細麻布的以弗得。這樣，以色列眾人歡呼吹角、吹號、敲鈸、鼓瑟、彈琴，大發響聲，將耶和華的約櫃擡上來。
