爾之上帝、救爾出諸災禍艱苦者、爾今日棄之、謂曰、立王治我、今當循爾支派億兆、進於耶和華前、

你们今日却厌弃了救你们脱离一切灾难的神，说：‘求你立一个王治理我们。’现在你们应当按着支派、宗族都站在耶和华面前。”

你们今日却厌弃救你们脱离一切灾祸和患难的上帝，对他说：‘求你立一个王治理我们。’现在你们应当按支派和宗族站在耶和华面前。”

你们今天却离弃了那位拯救你们脱离一切灾难和困苦的神，竟对他说：‘求你立一个王统治我们。’现在你们要按着你们的支派和家族，站在耶和华面前。”

今天你们却厌弃你们的神，就是使你们脱离一切灾祸和患难的拯救者；你们对他说：‘求你立一个王统治我们。’现在，你们要按着自己的支派和宗族，站在耶和华面前。”

你們今日卻棄絕了你們的上帝、就是那曾拯救你們脫離一切災禍、跟患難的，而你們卻對他說：「求你立一個王來管理我們。」現在你們要按族派族系都站立在永恆主面前。』

今天你們卻厭棄你們的神，就是使你們脫離一切災禍和患難的拯救者；你們對他說：『求你立一個王統治我們。』現在，你們要按著自己的支派和宗族，站在耶和華面前。」

爾之上帝、救爾出諸患難艱苦者、爾遺棄之、求立一王、今日爾當至此、循爾支派億兆、立於耶和華前。

But you have now rejected your God, who saves you out of all your disasters and calamities. And you have said,‘ No, appoint a king over us.’ So now present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and clans.”

But now you have turned your backs on your God. He saves you out of all your trouble and suffering. In spite of that, you have said,‘ We refuse to listen. Place a king over us.’ So now gather together to meet with the Lord. Do it tribe by tribe and family group by family group.”

But today you have rejected your God, who saves you from all your calamities and your distresses, and you have said to him,‘ Set a king over us.’ Now therefore present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and by your thousands.”

But though I have rescued you from your misery and distress, you have rejected your God today and have said,‘ No, we want a king instead!’ Now, therefore, present yourselves before the Lord by tribes and clans.”

But today you have rejected your God, who saves you from all your troubles and afflictions. You said to him,‘ You must set a king over us.’ Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes and clans.”

But today you have rejected your God, who saves you from all your catastrophes and your distresses; yet you have said,‘ No, but put a king over us!’ Now then, present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and by your groups of thousands.”

But you have today rejected your God, who Himself saved you from all your adversities and your tribulations; and you have said to Him,‘ No, set a king over us!’ Now therefore, present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and by your clans.”

爾見亞捫王拿轄來攻爾、則謂我曰、必有一王治我、是時爾上帝耶和華為爾之王、

約書亞集以色列諸支派於示劍、召其長老族長、士師有司、咸至、立於上帝前、

民不聽撒母耳言、曰、不然、我欲得王治我、

詰朝必循支派而至、耶和華所取支派、必循宗族而至、耶和華所取宗族、必循室家而至、耶和華所取室家、必使盡人而至、被取之人、匿有當滅之物、必燬其人、及凡所有、緣背耶和華之約、妄為於以色列中也、翌日、約書亞夙興、使以色列人循其支派而至、取猶大支派、使猶大宗族至、而取謝拉族、使謝拉族至、而取撒底、使其室家盡人而至、則取猶大支派、謝拉曾孫、撒底孫、迦米子亞干、約書亞謂亞干曰、我子歟、爾當歸榮於以色列之上帝耶和華、向之認罪、以爾所行告我、毋隱、亞干對曰、我誠獲罪於以色列之上帝耶和華、所行如是、我於所奪之物中、見有示拿之美衣、及銀二百舍客勒、金鋌五十舍客勒、則貪而取之、今在我幕、匿於地中、銀在其下、約書亞遣人趨至厥幕、其衣果藏於幕、銀在其下、乃自幕中取出、攜至約書亞及以色列眾、置於耶和華前、約書亞同以色列眾、取謝拉裔亞干、與銀衣金鋌、暨子女牛羊驢幕、及凡所有、攜至亞割谷、約書亞曰、爾何貽禍我儕、今日耶和華必禍爾、於是以色列人以石擊之、以火焚之、及其全家、堆石其上、至今猶存、耶和華乃息其烈怒、故其地名曰亞割谷、至於今日、

彼言立王聽訟、撒母耳不悅其事、禱於耶和華、耶和華諭之曰、凡民所言、爾可從之、彼非棄爾、乃棄我也、不欲我為其王、自我導之出埃及、迄於今日、彼之所行、離我而事他神、今待爾亦若是、可從其言、惟當加以警戒、示以治之之王、其制度若何、

伯利恆以法他乎、爾在猶大郡中為小、然將有一人自爾而出、為君於以色列、其原由於亙古、本於太初、

今非刈麥之時乎、我籲耶和華、彼將發雷降雨、令爾明知爾求立王、乃為大惡於耶和華前、撒母耳遂籲耶和華、是日耶和華發雷降雨、眾民甚畏耶和華、與撒母耳、告撒母耳曰、爾為僕祈爾上帝耶和華、免我死亡、我之求王、乃加罪於罪也、

爾諭以色列人、由之取杖、按宗族之牧伯、取杖十二、宗族各一、書名其上、
