素識掃羅者、見其同先知感靈而言、則相語曰、基士之子何所遇耶、掃羅亦在先知中乎、

素識掃羅者、見其如是、則相語曰、基士之子掃羅、其何所遇而在先知中乎。

素識掃羅之民、見其偕先知感神而言、則相語曰、基士子何所遇、掃羅亦列於先知中乎、

When all those who had formerly known him saw him prophesying with the prophets, they asked each other,“ What is this that has happened to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?”

Those who had known Saul before saw him prophesying with the prophets. They asked one another,“ What has happened to the son of Kish? Is Saul also one of the prophets?”

And when all who knew him previously saw how he prophesied with the prophets, the people said to one another,“ What has come over the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?”

When those who knew Saul heard about it, they exclaimed,“ What? Is even Saul a prophet? How did the son of Kish become a prophet?”

Everyone who knew him previously and saw him prophesy with the prophets asked each other,“ What has happened to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?”

When all who knew him before saw that, behold, he prophesied with the prophets, then the people said to one another,“ What is this that has come to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?”

And he also stripped off his clothes and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Therefore they say,“ Is Saul also among the prophets?”

And the Jews marveled, saying,“ How does this Man know letters, having never studied?”

When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said,“ Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works?Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?

Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Then all who heard were amazed, and said,“ Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?”

Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another,“ Look, are not all these who speak Galileans?And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said,“ Is not this he who sat and begged?”Some said,“ This is he.” Others said,“ He is like him.” He said,“ I am he.”
