Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it on Saul’s head and kissed him, saying,“ Has not the Lord anointed you ruler over his inheritance?

And you shall reign over the people of the Lord and you will save them from the hand of their surrounding enemies. And this shall be the sign to you that the Lord has anointed you to be prince over his heritage.

Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it over Saul’s head. He kissed Saul and said,“ I am doing this because the Lord has appointed you to be the ruler over Israel, his special possession.

Then Samuel took a small container of olive oil and poured it on Saul’s head. Samuel kissed him and said,“ The LORD has chosen you to lead his people Israel! You will rule over the LORD’s people and you will deliver them from the power of the enemies who surround them. This will be your sign that the LORD has chosen you as leader over his inheritance.

Then Samuel took the vial of oil, and poured it on his head, and kissed him, and said,“ Hasn’t Yahweh anointed you to be prince over his inheritance?

撒母耳就拿出盛膏油的角，当着他哥哥们的面膏立他。从那天起，耶和华的灵降在大卫身上。事后，撒母耳回拉玛去了。

但以色列人属于耶和华，雅各是祂的产业。

让他离开牧羊的生活，去牧养祂的子民雅各的后裔，牧养祂的产业以色列。

要降服在祂儿子面前，免得祂发怒，你们便在罪恶中灭亡，因为祂的怒气将临。投靠祂的人有福了！

“明天这个时候，我会从便雅悯境内差遣一个人到你这里，你要膏立他做我以色列子民的首领，他会从非利士人手中把我的子民拯救出来，因为我已听到我子民的呼求，我要施恩给他们。”

从前扫罗做王的时候，率领以色列人出征打仗的是你，耶和华也曾应许让你做祂以色列子民的牧者和首领。”

作为万物的归宿和根源的上帝，叫救恩的元帅耶稣经历苦难而得以纯全，以便带领许多的儿女进入荣耀，这样的安排是恰当的。

我在耶和华面前绝不敢出手伤害祂所膏立的王。我们拿走他旁边的矛和水瓶吧。”

现在，倘若你们认真听从我的话，遵守我的约，就必在万民中做我的子民，因为普天下都是我的。你们要归于我，作祭司之国、圣洁之邦。这些话你要告诉以色列人。’”

那人答道：“都不是，我来是做耶和华军队的统帅。”约书亚就俯伏下拜说：“我主，有什么话要吩咐仆人？”耶和华军队的统帅对约书亚说：“把你脚上的鞋脱下！因为你站的地方是圣洁的。”约书亚便把鞋脱下来。

祂拿过书卷后，四个活物和二十四位长老就俯伏在羔羊面前，各拿着竖琴和盛满了香的金香炉。那些香就是众圣徒的祈祷。

如今他们作恶日甚，凭借自己的聪明用银子铸造神像，但这不过是匠人之作。人们议论他们说：“那些献祭的人竟亲吻牛犊偶像！”

民众却不肯听从撒母耳的话。他们说：“不，我们想要一个王治理我们，

跟耶和华对抗的人必被击溃，祂必从天上用雷击打他。祂必审判天下，赐力量给祂所立的君王，使祂所膏立的人大有权柄。”

要以圣洁的吻问候众弟兄姊妹。

此外，我在以色列留下七千人，他们未曾跪拜巴力，也未曾亲吻巴力。”

他对部下说：“我不该做这样的事，我主是耶和华所膏立的王，我绝不出手伤害他，因为他是耶和华所膏立的。”

但现在你的王位不能长久了，耶和华已经找到一个合祂心意的人，要立他做百姓的君王。因为你没有遵守耶和华的命令。”

王和众人过了约旦河以后，就亲吻巴西莱，为他祝福。巴西莱返回了家乡。

但雅各的上帝截然不同，祂是万物的创造者，被称为“万军之耶和华”，以色列是祂的子民。

“后来，他们求上帝为他们立一位王，上帝就选立便雅悯支派中基士的儿子扫罗为王，执政四十年。

祂拣选雅各做祂的子民，拣选以色列作祂的产业。

你就照他们所求的去做吧！但你要警告他们，让他们知道将来王会怎样管辖他们。”

以利沙先知叫来一个先知，吩咐他：“你要束上腰带，拿着这瓶膏油去基列的拉末。

把这瓶膏油倒在他头上，告诉他，‘耶和华说，我膏立你为以色列王。’然后，你要马上开门逃走，不可迟延。”于是，那位年轻的先知启程前往基列的拉末。到了那里，他看见众将领正坐在一起，便说：“将军，我有话对你说。”耶户说：“你想对我们哪一个说话？”他说：“将军啊，我有话对你说。”耶户便站起来，随他进入屋里。他将膏油倒在耶户头上，说：“以色列的上帝耶和华说，‘我膏立你做我以色列子民的王。

“回去告诉我子民的首领希西迦，‘你祖先大卫的上帝耶和华说，我已听见你的祷告，看见了你的眼泪。我要医治你，三天后你就可以上耶和华的殿。
