Hannah did not go. She said to her husband,“ After the boy is weaned, I will take him and present him before the Lord, and he will live there always.”

但哈娜这一次没有上去，因为她对丈夫说：“等孩子断了奶，我再带他上去，那时让他朝见耶和华，然后永远住在那里。”

惟哈拿不往、謂其夫曰、俟子斷乳、我將攜之覲耶和華、使恆居其所、

But Hannah didn’t go. She said to her husband,“ When the boy doesn’t need me to breast- feed him anymore, I’ll take him to the Lord’ s house. I’ll give him to the Lord there. He’ll stay there for the rest of his life.”

But Hannah did not go up, for she said to her husband,“ As soon as the child is weaned, I will bring him, so that he may appear in the presence of the Lord and dwell there forever.”

But Hannah did not go. She told her husband,“ Wait until the boy is weaned. Then I will take him to the Tabernacle and leave him there with the Lord permanently.”

Hannah did not go and explained to her husband,“ After the child is weaned, I’ll take him to appear in the LORD’s presence and to stay there permanently.”

But Hannah did not go up, for she said to her husband,“ I will not go until the child is weaned; then I will bring him, so that he may appear before the Lord and stay there for life.”

But Hannah did not go up, for she said to her husband,“ Not until the child is weaned; then I will take him, that he may appear before the Lord and remain there forever.”

But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned; and then I will bring him, that he may appear before Jehovah, and there abide for ever.

Hannah did not go and explained to her husband,“ After the child is weaned, I’ll take him to appear in the Lord’s presence and to stay there permanently.”

But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband,[ I will not go up] until the child be weaned, and[ then] I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.

but Hannah did not go up with them. Instead she told her husband,“ Once the boy is weaned, I will bring him and appear before the LORD, and he will remain there from then on.”

But Hannah didn’t go up, for she said to her husband,“ Not until the child is weaned; then I will bring him, that he may appear before Yahweh, and stay there forever.”

And she made a vow, saying,“ Lord Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.”

So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.

When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord

The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions.

But Samuel was ministering before the Lord— a boy wearing a linen ephod.

Then Elkanah went home to Ramah, but the boy ministered before the Lord under Eli the priest.

Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.”

“‘ The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is mine and you reside in my land as foreigners and strangers.

then his master must take him before the judges. He shall take him to the door or the doorpost and pierce his ear with an awl. Then he will be his servant for life.

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Three times a year all your men must appear before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed:

Every year Jesus’ parents went to Jerusalem for the Festival of the Passover.When he was twelve years old, they went up to the festival, according to the custom.

The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind:“ You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”
