以利就對她說：「你要醉到什麼時候呢？不要再喝酒了！」

曰、爾醉將至何時、其戒爾酒、

曰、爾飲已醉、醒於何時、必戒爾酒。

謂之曰、爾醉至何時乎、當醒於酒、當醒於酒原文作當除爾酒

And Eli said to her,“ How long will you go on being drunk? Put your wine away from you.”

and said to her,“ How long are you going to be drunk? Get rid of your wine!”

Then Eli said to her,“ How long will you behave like a drunk? Get rid of your wine!”

So Eli said to her,“ How long will you be drunk? Put your wine away from you!”

And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.

and scolded her,“ How long are you going to be drunk? Get rid of your wine!”

And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.

So he said to her,“ How often do you intend to get drunk? Put away your wine!”

Eli said to her,“ How long will you be drunk? Get rid of your wine!”

Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.

So stop telling lies. Let us tell our neighbors the truth, for we are all parts of the same body.

But do not rebel against the Lord or against us by building an altar other than the one true altar of the Lord our God.Didn’t divine anger fall on the entire community of Israel when Achan, a member of the clan of Zerah, sinned by stealing the things set apart for the Lord? He was not the only one who died because of his sin.”

“ Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.“ And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own?

If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored— so clean up your life.

But you, lazybones, how long will you sleep? When will you wake up?

Avoid all perverse talk; stay away from corrupt speech.

So many enemies against one man— all of them trying to kill me. To them I’m just a broken down wall or a tottering fence.

Get rid of your sins, and leave all iniquity behind you.
