Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls[ to him] in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

若上帝旨使爾受苦、則當行善、創造之主、言出惟行、當以魂托之、

故循天主之旨受苦者、惟當行善、以靈魂託於誠實可信創造萬物之主、以靈魂託於誠實可信創造萬物之主或作創造之主誠實可信當以靈魂託之

因此、吾願凡遵循天主意旨、正在受苦受難者、行善不輟、自強不息、而坦然將其靈魂託付於至誠之主宰也。

So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

Here is what people who suffer because of God’s plan should do. They should commit themselves to their faithful Creator. And they should continue to do good.

Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.

So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you.

So then, let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust themselves to a faithful Creator while doing what is good.

Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of God are to entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.

Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.

Wherefore let them also that suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well- doing unto a faithful Creator.

So those who suffer according to God’s will should, while doing what is good, entrust themselves to a faithful Creator.

So then let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator as they do good.

Therefore let them also who suffer according to the will of God in doing good entrust their souls to him, as to a faithful Creator.

For[ it is] better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy[ are ye]; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or[ as] a thief, or[ as] an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.Yet if[ any man suffer] as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring[ it] to pass.

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

The LORD will perfect[ that which] concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD,[ endureth] for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Happy[ is he] that[ hath] the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope[ is] in the LORD his God:Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein[ is]: which keepeth truth for ever:

My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we[ are] not careful to answer thee in this matter.If it be[ so], our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver[ us] out of thine hand, O king.But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

And when he was come unto us, he took Paul’s girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver[ him] into the hands of the Gentiles.And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.

Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue[ that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This[ is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness[ is] of me, saith the LORD.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether[ they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all[ things] he might have the preeminence.For it pleased[ the Father] that in him should all fulness dwell;And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him,[ I say], whether[ they be] things in earth, or things in heaven.

For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

And they stoned Stephen, calling upon[ God], and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power,[ be] unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four[ and] twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.

And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man[ is] worthy to die; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.Then spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard.Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.As for me, behold, I[ am] in your hand: do with me as seemeth good and meet unto you.But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by[ his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;Who being the brightness of[ his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.

Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which[ is] not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

[ Even] every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.

Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard,[ that] the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary?[ there is] no searching of his understanding.

The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

I,[ even] I,[ am] he that comforteth you: who[ art] thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man[ that] shall die, and of the son of man[ which] shall be made[ as] grass;And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where[ is] the fury of the oppressor?
