And,“ If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”

“如果连义人都好不容易得救，那么，不敬神的人和罪人将会怎么样呢？”

若是義人僅僅得救，那不虔敬和犯罪的人將有何地可站呢？

「如果連義人都好不容易得救，那麼，不敬神的人和罪人將會怎麼樣呢？」

若義者僅得救、不虔不善者、將處於何地乎、

若義者僅得救而已、則不虔不善者、將何以處之、

若義者僅得救而已、則不虔敬與犯罪者、將處何境、

若義人之蒙救、猶若是其難也；則悖逆不道之人、其將何地以自容耶？

Scripture says,“ Suppose it is hard for godly people to be saved. Then what will happen to ungodly people and sinners?”( Proverbs 11:31)

And“ If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”

And also,“ If the righteous are barely saved, what will happen to godless sinners?”

And if a righteous person is saved with difficulty, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?

And if it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, what will become of the godless man and the sinner?

Now“ If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”

And if the righteous is scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and sinner appear?

And if a righteous person is saved with difficulty, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?

And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

And if the righteous are barely saved, what will become of the ungodly and sinners?

“ If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will happen to the ungodly and the sinner?”

If the righteous receive their due on earth, how much more the ungodly and the sinner!

“ But if a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked person does, will they live? None of the righteous things that person has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness they are guilty of and because of the sins they have committed, they will die.

if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;

to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

For if people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say,‘ They are my people,’ and they will say,‘ The Lord is our God.’”

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness,

strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith.“ We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.

And,“ But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!

By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

See, I am beginning to bring disaster on the city that bears my Name, and will you indeed go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, for I am calling down a sword on all who live on the earth, declares the Lord Almighty.’

Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.

“ If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.At that time if anyone says to you,‘ Look, here is the Messiah!’ or,‘ There he is!’ do not believe it.For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

The soldiers planned to kill the prisoners to prevent any of them from swimming away and escaping.But the centurion wanted to spare Paul’s life and kept them from carrying out their plan. He ordered those who could swim to jump overboard first and get to land.The rest were to get there on planks or on other pieces of the ship. In this way everyone reached land safely.

Now the people of Sodom were wicked and were sinning greatly against the Lord.

Then Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers,“ Unless these men stay with the ship, you cannot be saved.”

and said,‘ Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.’

Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus.

And he sent you on a mission, saying,‘ Go and completely destroy those wicked people, the Amalekites; wage war against them until you have wiped them out.’

“ If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them.At that time if anyone says to you,‘ Look, here is the Messiah!’ or,‘ Look, there he is!’ do not believe it.For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
