蓋審判之時機已熟；其以天主聖宅為開端、宜也。然既以吾人為開端、則一般未順天主福音之人、其結局又將如何！

There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of mankind who does evil, for the Jew first and also for the Greek,

And that slave who knew his master’s will and did not get ready or act in accordance with his will, will receive many blows,but the one who did not know it, and committed acts deserving of a beating, will receive only a few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.

Then He began to reprimand the cities in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent.“ Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that occurred in you had occurred in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.Nevertheless I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.And you, Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You will be brought down to Hades! For if the miracles that occurred in you had occurred in Sodom, it would have remained to this day.Nevertheless I say to you that it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom on the day of judgment, than for you.”

For if they do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns us from heaven.

I say to you, it will be more tolerable on that day for Sodom than for that city.“ Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! and do not assume that you can say to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham as our father’; for I tell you that God is able, from these stones, to raise up children for Abraham.And the axe is already laid at the root of the trees; therefore, every tree that does not bear good fruit is being cut down and thrown into the fire.

“ You only have I known among all the families of the earth; Therefore I will punish you for all your wrongdoing.”

You were running well; who hindered you from obeying the truth?

For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every violation and act of disobedience received a just punishment,

And having been perfected, He became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him,

God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.

“ Then I will come near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, those who oppress the wage earner in his wages or the widow or the orphan, and those who turn away the stranger from justice and do not fear Me,” says the Lord of armies.

So it will be that when the Lord has completed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, He will say,“ I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria and the arrogant pride of his eyes.”

By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he left, not knowing where he was going.

You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified?

For this is what the Lord says:“ Behold, those who were not sentenced to drink the cup will certainly drink it, so are you the one who will be held completely blameless? You will not be held blameless, but you will certainly drink it.
