蓋時至則鞫自上帝之家始、若自我儕始、彼不服上帝福音者、其終將何如哉、

時日伊邇、上帝之民且被鞫、若我儕先受審判、則不信上帝福音者、將受何報哉、

蓋時已至、天主之家先受鞫、若我儕先受鞫、則不信天主福音者、其終當何如、

蓋審判之時機已熟；其以天主聖宅為開端、宜也。然既以吾人為開端、則一般未順天主福音之人、其結局又將如何！

For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

神要在烈火中報應那些不認識神的人，以及那些不順從我們主耶穌福音的人；

並且是「一塊絆腳的石頭，使人絆倒的磐石。」他們絆倒是因為不肯信從這話語，而這也是被預定的。

神要把患難和困苦加給一切作惡之人的靈魂，先是猶太人的，後是外邦人的；

那知道主人的意思，卻沒有預備，也不照著主人的意思去做的奴僕，將會受很多鞭打；但那因為不知道而做了該打之事的人，將會受很少鞭打。所以誰被賜予的多，將來向誰索取的也多；託給誰多，將來向誰要求的也更多。

接著，耶穌開始斥責那些他曾經在其中行了許多神蹟的城市，因為那裡的人不肯悔改：「哥拉汛哪，你有禍了！伯賽達呀，你有禍了！因為在你們當中行過的神蹟，如果行在提爾和西頓，那裡的人早就會披麻蒙灰悔改了。不過我告訴你們：在那審判的日子，提爾和西頓所受的，將要比你們還容易受呢！而你——迦百農啊，你將被高舉到天上嗎？不，你將下到陰間。因為在你中間行過的神蹟，如果行在所多瑪，它就會存留到今天。不過我告訴你們：在那審判的日子，所多瑪之地所受的，將要比你還容易受呢！」

他們在樹木青綠的時候尚且做這些事，那麼在它枯萎的時候，還會發生什麼呢？」

來到了耶穌面前——他是新約的中保；來到了所灑的血面前——這血比亞伯的血所述說的更美好。你們要當心，不要拒絕向你們說話的那一位。要知道，那些拒絕了在地上警告他們的，尚且無法逃脫懲罰，更何況我們背棄從天上警告我們的那一位呢！

我告訴你們：在那日，所多瑪所受的，將要比那城還容易受呢！「哥拉汛哪，你有禍了！伯賽達呀，你有禍了！因為在你們當中行過的神蹟，如果行在提爾和西頓，那裡的人早就會披麻蒙灰，坐在地上悔改了。不過在審判的時候，提爾和西頓所受的，將要比你們還容易受呢！

你們不要心裡想『我們有亞伯拉罕為先祖。』我告訴你們：神能從這些石頭中給亞伯拉罕興起兒女來。現在斧子已經放在樹根上，所有不結好果子的樹都要被砍下來，被丟進火裡。

你們一向跑得很好，到底是誰攔阻了你們，使你們不信從真理呢？

要知道，那藉著天使所說的話既然是確定的，連一切過犯和悖逆都受到了應得的報應，

他既然得以完全，就為所有順從他的人成了永恆救恩的本源，

神又照著自己的旨意，用神蹟、奇事和各種大能，以及聖靈的各種恩賜，與他們一同見證。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我必臨近你們施行審判；我要快快作證控告那些行巫術的、通姦的、起假誓的、在工酬上欺壓雇工的、欺壓孤兒寡婦的、屈枉寄居者的，以及不敬畏我的！

當主完成了針對錫安山和耶路撒冷的一切工作時，他必說：「我要懲罰亞述王心思自大的作為和眼目高傲的虛誇。」

因著信，亞伯拉罕蒙召的時候，就順從出發，往他將要得為繼業的地方去。他出發的時候，還不知道往哪裡去。

唉，無知的加拉太人哪！是誰迷惑了你們呢？被釘十字架的耶穌基督，難道不是先前被描繪在你們眼前的嗎？
