Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.

若为作基督徒受苦，却不要羞耻，倒要因这名归荣耀给神。

若有人因是基督徒而受苦，不要引以为耻，倒要因这名而归荣耀给上帝。

但如果有人因為是基督徒而受苦，他不應該感到羞恥，反要奉這名來榮耀神；

惟因為基督徒而受苦、則毋愧、乃緣此名歸榮上帝也、

然宗基督而受害、初無愧怍、又當歸榮上帝、

若緣為基督徒而受苦、則勿羞愧、當因此歸榮於天主、

若為服膺基督之教而受苦、則非惟不可引以為辱、且當以此名義、歸榮於天主也。

However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

But suppose you suffer for being a Christian. Then don’t be ashamed. Instead, praise God because you are known by the name of Christ.

Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.

But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name!

So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.

through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;and perseverance, character; and character, hope.Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
