各宜按所受之恩賜、交相供事、如忠信之家宰、司理天主恩賜者、

各按所賦才能、互相效勞、庶無負天主多方授才之美意。蓋凡百才能、皆屬天主之付託；爾當忠心耿耿，無忝所受之惠也。

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

God’s gifts of grace come in many forms. Each of you has received a gift in order to serve others. You should use it faithfully.

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:

God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the multifaceted grace of God.

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

according as each hath received a gift, ministering it among yourselves, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God;

Based on the gift each one has received, use it to serve others, as good managers of the varied grace of God.

As every man hath received the gift,[ even so] minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

According to the grace given to us, we have different gifts: If prophecy, use it according to the proportion of one’s faith;if service, use it in service; if teaching, in teaching;if exhorting, in exhortation; giving, with generosity; leading, with diligence; showing mercy, with cheerfulness.

Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit.There are different ministries, but the same Lord.And there are different activities, but the same God works all of them in each person.A manifestation of the Spirit is given to each person for the common good:to one is given a message of wisdom through the Spirit, to another, a message of knowledge by the same Spirit,to another, faith by the same Spirit, to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit,to another, the performing of miracles, to another, prophecy, to another, distinguishing between spirits, to another, different kinds of tongues, to another, interpretation of tongues.One and the same Spirit is active in all these, distributing to each person as he wills.

A person should think of us in this way: as servants of Christ and managers of the mysteries of God.In this regard, it is required that managers be found faithful.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

According to God’s grace that was given to me, I have laid a foundation as a skilled master builder, and another builds on it. But each one is to be careful how he builds on it.

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

The Lord said,“ Who then is the faithful and sensible manager his master will put in charge of his household servants to give them their allotted food at the proper time?

For God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you demonstrated for his name by serving the saints— and by continuing to serve them.

This grace was given to me— the least of all the saints— to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches of Christ,

He called ten of his servants, gave them ten minas, and told them,‘ Engage in business until I come back.’

Yes, they were pleased, and indeed are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual benefits, then they are obligated to minister to them in material needs.

For who makes you so superior? What do you have that you didn’t receive? If, in fact, you did receive it, why do you boast as if you hadn’t received it?

As an overseer of God’s household, he must be blameless, not arrogant, not hot-tempered, not an excessive drinker, not a bully, not greedy for money,

“ For it is just like a man about to go on a journey. He called his own servants and entrusted his possessions to them.To one he gave five talents, to another two talents, and to another one talent, depending on each one’s ability. Then he went on a journey. Immediately

Now he said to the disciples,“ There was a rich man who received an accusation that his manager was squandering his possessions.So he called the manager in and asked,‘ What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management, because you can no longer be my manager.’“ Then the manager said to himself,‘ What will I do since my master is taking the management away from me? I’m not strong enough to dig; I’m ashamed to beg.I know what I’ll do so that when I’m removed from management, people will welcome me into their homes.’“ So he summoned each one of his master’s debtors.‘ How much do you owe my master?’ he asked the first one.“‘ A hundred measures of olive oil,’ he said.“‘ Take your invoice,’ he told him,‘ sit down quickly, and write fifty.’“ Next he asked another,‘ How much do you owe?’“‘ A hundred measures of wheat,’ he said.“‘ Take your invoice,’ he told him,‘ and write eighty.’“ The master praised the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the children of this age are more shrewd than the children of light in dealing with their own people.

“ Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master has put in charge of his household, to give them food at the proper time?

Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward; Susanna; and many others who were supporting them from their possessions.

“ Then they too will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or without clothes, or sick, or in prison, and not help you?’

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

And he himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers,

May the Lord grant that he obtain mercy from him on that day. You know very well how much he ministered at Ephesus.

Right now I am traveling to Jerusalem to serve the saints,

Working together with him, we also appeal to you,“ Don’t receive the grace of God in vain.”

This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Now concerning the ministry to the saints, it is unnecessary for me to write to you.

For at that time there will be great distress, the kind that hasn’t taken place from the beginning of the world until now and never will again.
