人若以恶报善，家里必祸患不断。

“但是，我告诉你们这些听道的人，要爱你们的仇敌，要善待恨你们的人，要为咒诅你们的人祝福，要替恶待你们的人祷告。如果有人打你一边的脸，连另一边也转过来让他打。如果有人夺你的外衣，连内衣也由他拿去。

还要亲手劳作。我们被人咒骂，就为对方祝福；受人迫害，就逆来顺受；被人毁谤，就好言相劝。人们至今仍将我们看作世上的废物，万物中的渣滓。

总要以恩慈、怜悯的心彼此相待，要互相饶恕，正如上帝在基督里饶恕了你们一样。

如果你们犯罪受责打，能够忍受得住，有什么功劳呢？但如果你们因行善而受苦，还能忍受，就是上帝所喜悦的。你们蒙召也是为此，因为基督也为你们受过苦，给你们留下榜样，叫你们可以追随祂的脚步。祂没有犯罪，口中也没有诡诈。祂被辱骂也不还口，被迫害也不扬言报复，只把自己交托给按公义施行审判的上帝。

那时，王会对右边的人说，‘我父所赐福的人啊，来承受创世以来为你们预备的国度吧。

我们知道，上帝使万事互相效力，使那些爱上帝，就是上帝按自己的旨意呼召的人得益处。

你们忍受短暂的苦难之后，广施恩典、在基督里呼召你们享受祂永远荣耀的上帝必亲自复兴你们，使你们刚强、笃定、坚立。

祂所预定的人，祂也呼召他们；祂所呼召的人，祂也称他们为义人；祂称为义人的，祂也使他们得荣耀。

“我必赐福给你，使你子孙众多。”

无论谁为我的名而撇下房屋、弟兄、姊妹、父母、儿女或田地，都要得到百倍的赏赐，而且承受永生。

耶稣正要上路，有一个人跑来跪在祂跟前，问祂：“良善的老师，我该做什么才能承受永生？”

一位官长问耶稣：“良善的老师，我该做什么才能承受永生？”

有一次，一名律法教师站起来试探耶稣，说：“老师，我应该怎样做才能得永生呢？”
