实际上，从前盼望神的那些圣洁妇女，也是这样装饰自己，服从自己丈夫的；

因为古时仰赖神的圣洁妇人正是以此为妆饰，顺服自己的丈夫，

因为古时仰赖上帝的圣洁妇人正是以此为妆饰，顺服自己的丈夫。

从前那些仰赖上帝的圣洁妇女，都是以这些来妆饰自己，并顺服自己的丈夫，

因为古时仰望神的圣洁妇女，正是这样装饰自己，顺服丈夫，

因為古時仰賴神的聖潔婦人正是以此為妝飾，順服自己的丈夫，

因為古時仰賴上帝的聖潔婦人正是以此為妝飾，順服自己的丈夫。

因為古時仰賴神的聖潔婦人正是以此為妝飾，順服自己的丈夫。

從前那些仰賴上帝的聖潔婦女，都是以這些來妝飾自己，並順服自己的丈夫，

因為古時仰望神的聖潔婦女，正是這樣裝飾自己，順服丈夫，

從前寄望於上帝的聖別婦人也是這樣自己妝飾，順服她們自己的丈夫。

實際上，從前盼望神的那些聖潔婦女，也是這樣裝飾自己，服從自己丈夫的；

古昔聖女、上帝是望、亦以是自飾、服於其夫、

維昔淑女、上帝是賴、以此自飾、亦順其夫、

古昔仰賴天主之聖女、亦以此自飾、而服於其夫、

在昔懿德之婦、亦莫不以此自飾、仰望天主、敬事其夫。

For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands,

This is how the holy women of the past used to make themselves beautiful. They put their hope in God. And they followed the lead of their own husbands.

同样，年长的妇女在举止行为上要合乎圣洁、不恶意控告、不成为酒的奴隶，要教导美好的事；这样，她们可以训导年轻的妇女爱丈夫、爱儿女、

那真正的寡妇，无依无靠，已经把盼望寄托于神，日夜不住地祈求祷告；

因为看见了你们怀有敬畏之心的贞洁品行。你们的美丽之处不应该是外在的，如编头发、戴金饰、穿华服，而应该是心里面内在的人，带着不朽坏的品性，出于谦和、安静的灵；这在神面前是极其贵重的。

还有一些从邪灵和疾病中被解脱出来、得了痊愈的妇女，其中有那称为茉大拉的玛丽亚，从她身上曾经有七个鬼魔被赶出来，又有希律的管家苦撒的妻子约亚娜，以及苏珊娜和许多别的妇女，她们都用自己所拥有的来服事耶稣和门徒们。

在约帕有一个女门徒，名叫塔比莎——“塔比莎”翻译出来意思是“羚羊”。她尽做美善工作，常行施舍。

后来守寡了，现在已经八十四岁。她从不离开圣殿，禁食祈祷，日夜事奉神。

妩媚是虚假的，美貌是虚幻的；唯有敬畏耶和华的女子必受称赞。

那时哈娜祷告说：“我的心因耶和华而欢乐，我的角因耶和华而高举；我的口向众仇敌张大，因我以你的救恩欢喜。

并且必须有美好行为的名声，就如养育孩子、接待客旅、洗圣徒的脚、帮助受患难的人、追随一切美善的工作。

这些人与一些妇女以及耶稣的母亲玛丽亚、耶稣的兄弟们一起，都同心合意地恒切祷告。

不过女人如果在自制中持守信仰、爱心、圣洁，就会在生养儿女中得以保全。

反而要用美善的行为，与称为敬神的女人相宜。

同样因着信，不能生育的撒拉，自己虽然过了年龄，还是领受了怀孕生子的能力，原来她认为向她应许的那一位是信实的。

才德的妻子，谁能找得到呢？她的价值远超过红宝石。
