耶穌基督已經往天上去，現今在上帝的右邊，眾天使、眾「掌權」眾「有能力」的靈、都已順服於他了。

因為基督並不是進了人手造的聖所、真聖所的模型、乃是進了上天本境，如今替我們顯在上帝面前的。

轉臉注視着信仰上的開創者和完成者耶穌：他為了那擺在他前頭的喜樂，就堅忍着十字架，輕看羞辱，如今已在上帝的右邊坐着呢。

就是他在基督身上所運行，使他從死人中活了起來，又使他在天界中坐在自己右邊，遠超過各「執政的」、各「掌權的」、各「有能力的」、和各「主治的」，以及任何可稱之名號，不但在這今世、也在來世、都超過極遠的。

論到我們所講的、要點就是：我們有這樣的大祭司，他已在天上皇威之寶座右邊坐着；

主耶穌向他們講了話以後，就被接上、到天上去，坐在上帝的右邊。

因為我深信，無論是死、是活，是天使、是「眾執政的」，是現在的事、是將來的事，是「一切有權能的」，

這樣、你們既和基督一同活了起來，就該求在上面的事；因為那裏有基督坐在上帝的右邊。

誰能定他們的罪呢？有基督、那曾經死了的、倒應當說曾得了甦活起來的，有他在上帝的右邊，他在替我們懇求着啊。

那先導者耶穌替我們進了那裏，永遠做大祭司、照麥基洗德的等次。

惟獨這一位、卻替罪獻了一次的祭，就永續不斷地坐在上帝的右邊；

因為大衛當時並沒有升到天上；大衛只是親自說：「主對我主說了：你坐在我右邊，等我處置你仇敵做你腳的凳子。」『這樣看來，以色列全家都應當確實地知道，你們釘十字架的這位耶穌、上帝已經立他、不但做主，而且做上帝所膏立者基督了。』

說：『加利利人哪，你們為甚麼站着向天看望呢？這從你們中間被接上、升天的耶穌，你們見他怎樣往天上去，他也必怎樣來臨。』

然後是末終，那時他必要將「各執政的」「各掌權的」「各有能力的」都消滅掉，然後將王權交給父上帝。

「主對我主說了：你坐在我右邊，等我處置你仇敵在你腳下」呢？

他是上帝榮耀所發的光輝，是上帝本質印出的相。他用他能力的話扶載萬有。既成就了潔淨罪的事，便坐在高天『皇威』的右邊。

大衛在聖靈感動中親自說：「主對我主說了：你坐在我右邊，等我處置你仇敵在你腳下。」

但是他對天使中哪一位說過：『你坐在我右邊，等我處置你仇敵、做你腳的凳子』呢？

這耶穌、天必須留着他，等到萬物復興的時候、上帝從古世以來藉他聖神言人的口所說到的日子。

大衛在《詩篇》書上親自說：「主對我主說了：你坐在我右邊，

永恆主的神諭對我主我王說：『你坐在我右邊，等我處置你仇敵、做你腳的凳子。』
