For the Scriptures say,“ If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies.

因为经上说：“凡要爱惜生命、享受好日子的人，要禁止舌头不出恶言，嘴唇不说诡诈的话。

因为经上说：“凡要爱惜生命、享受好日子的人，要禁止舌头不出恶言，嘴唇不说诡诈的话。

因为圣经上说：“若有人热爱生命，渴望幸福，就要舌头不出恶言，嘴唇不说诡诈的话。

因为“凡希望享受人生，要看见好日子的，就要禁止舌头不出恶言，嘴唇不说诡诈的话；

要知道，“那愿意爱惜生命、愿意见到好日子的人，要停止舌头出恶言，不让嘴唇说诡诈的话；

要知道，「那願意愛惜生命、願意見到好日子的人，要停止舌頭出惡言，不讓嘴唇說詭詐的話；

故曰、凡欲愛生而見佳日者、宜禁其舌於惡、其口於譎、

凡欲得生而有福、當捫舌勿言惡、緘口勿詭譎、

經載云、凡欲得生而平康度日者、則當捫舌勿言惡、守口無詭詐、

聖詠有之、『人欲善其生、長度康樂日：守舌毋惡言、緘口絕詭譎；

For,“ Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.

Scripture says,“ Suppose someone wants to love life and see good days. Then they must keep their tongues from speaking evil. They must keep their lips from telling lies.

For“ Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit;

For the one who wants to love life and to see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit,

For,“ The one who desires life, to love and see good days, Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.

For“ He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit.

For, He that would love life, And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips that they speak no guile:

For the one who wants to love life and to see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit,

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

For the one who wants to love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from uttering deceit.

For,“ He who would love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.

Does anyone want to live a life that is long and prosperous?Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies!Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth.

If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless.

He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone.

So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech.

They have told no lies; they are without blame.

As they approached, Jesus said,“ Now here is a genuine son of Israel— a man of complete integrity.”

For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord.

Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly.Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.We can make a large horse go wherever we want by means of a small bit in its mouth.And a small rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot chooses to go, even though the winds are strong.In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire.And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself.People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish,but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison.Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God.And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!

If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying.

for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.

Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her; happy are those who hold her tightly.

Satan replied to the Lord,“ Skin for skin! A man will give up everything he has to save his life.

“ Why ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied.“ There is only One who is good. But to answer your question— if you want to receive eternal life, keep the commandments.”

“ But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, but they didn’t see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn’t hear it.

After much thought, I decided to cheer myself with wine. And while still seeking wisdom, I clutched at foolishness. In this way, I tried to experience the only happiness most people find during their brief life in this world.

God rescued me from the grave, and now my life is filled with light.’

Let me share in the prosperity of your chosen ones. Let me rejoice in the joy of your people; let me praise you with those who are your heritage.

If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.

But they will die like all before them and never again see the light of day.

O God, remember that my life is but a breath, and I will never again feel happiness.You see me now, but not for long. You will look for me, but I will be gone.

These instructions are not empty words— they are your life! By obeying them you will enjoy a long life in the land you will occupy when you cross the Jordan River.”

Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.

“ My life passes more swiftly than a runner. It flees away without a glimpse of happiness.

Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity.
