For the one who wants to love life and to see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit,

因为经上说：“人若爱生命，愿享美福，须要禁止舌头不出恶言，嘴唇不说诡诈的话；

因为经上说：“凡要爱惜生命、享受好日子的人，要禁止舌头不出恶言，嘴唇不说诡诈的话。

因为圣经上说：“若有人热爱生命，渴望幸福，就要舌头不出恶言，嘴唇不说诡诈的话。

因为“凡希望享受人生，要看见好日子的，就要禁止舌头不出恶言，嘴唇不说诡诈的话；

要知道，“那愿意爱惜生命、愿意见到好日子的人，要停止舌头出恶言，不让嘴唇说诡诈的话；

要知道，「那願意愛惜生命、願意見到好日子的人，要停止舌頭出惡言，不讓嘴唇說詭詐的話；

故曰、凡欲愛生而見佳日者、宜禁其舌於惡、其口於譎、

凡欲得生而有福、當捫舌勿言惡、緘口勿詭譎、

經載云、凡欲得生而平康度日者、則當捫舌勿言惡、守口無詭詐、

聖詠有之、『人欲善其生、長度康樂日：守舌毋惡言、緘口絕詭譎；

For,“ Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.

Scripture says,“ Suppose someone wants to love life and see good days. Then they must keep their tongues from speaking evil. They must keep their lips from telling lies.

For“ Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit;

For the Scriptures say,“ If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies.

For,“ The one who desires life, to love and see good days, Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.

For“ He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit.

For, He that would love life, And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips that they speak no guile:

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

For,“ He who would love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.

Who is someone who desires life, loving a long life to enjoy what is good?Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceitful speech.Turn away from evil and do what is good; seek peace and pursue it.The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry for help.The face of the LORD is set against those who do what is evil, to remove all memory of them from the earth.

If anyone thinks he is religious without controlling his tongue, his religion is useless and he deceives himself.

He did not commit sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth;

Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all slander.

No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.

Then Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said about him,“ Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”

For the one who finds me finds life and obtains favor from the LORD,

Not many should become teachers, my brothers, because you know that we will receive a stricter judgment.For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is mature, able also to control the whole body.Now if we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they obey us, we direct their whole bodies.And consider ships: Though very large and driven by fierce winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs.So too, though the tongue is a small part of the body, it boasts great things. Consider how a small fire sets ablaze a large forest.And the tongue is a fire. The tongue, a world of unrighteousness, is placed among our members. It stains the whole body, sets the course of life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.Every kind of animal, bird, reptile, and fish is tamed and has been tamed by humankind,but no one can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.With the tongue we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in God’s likeness.Blessing and cursing come out of the same mouth. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be this way.

for they will bring you many days, a full life, and well-being.

For they are life to those who find them, and health to one’s whole body.

She is a tree of life to those who embrace her, and those who hold on to her are happy.

“ Skin for skin!” Satan answered the LORD.“ A man will give up everything he owns in exchange for his life.

“ Why do you ask me about what is good?” he said to him.“ There is only one who is good. If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

“ Blessed are your eyes because they do see, and your ears because they do hear.For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see the things you see but didn’t see them, to hear the things you hear but didn’t hear them.

I explored with my mind the pull of wine on my body— my mind still guiding me with wisdom— and how to grasp folly, until I could see what is good for people to do under heaven during the few days of their lives.

He redeemed my soul from going down to the Pit, and I will continue to see the light.”

so that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones, rejoice in the joy of your nation, and boast about your heritage.

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of me and the gospel will save it.

he will go to the generation of his ancestors; they will never see the light.

Remember that my life is but a breath. My eye will never again see anything good.The eye of anyone who looks on me will no longer see me. Your eyes will look for me, but I will be gone.

For they are not meaningless words to you but they are your life, and by them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

I am certain that I will see the LORD’s goodness in the land of the living.

My days fly by faster than a runner; they flee without seeing any good.

The one who loves his life will lose it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
