Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives,

為婦者、宜服爾夫、或夫不從道、致外乎道、由婦所行、亦可得之、

婦當順夫、如有夫不從教、見婦所為、雖無人勸勉、亦得歸道、

婦歟、爾當順爾夫、如是、倘有不信道之夫、雖無勸勉、亦可緣婦之所行、隨感而歸道、

為婦者應順服其夫、夫即不信聖道、亦當以平日行為感化之不必徒騰口說也。

Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives,

Wives, follow the lead of your own husbands. Suppose some of them don’t believe God’s word. Then let them be won to Christ without words by seeing how their wives behave.

Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives,

In the same way, you wives must accept the authority of your husbands. Then, even if some refuse to obey the Good News, your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over

In the same way, you wives, be subject to your own husbands so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they may be won over without a word by the behavior of their wives,

In like manner, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, even if any obey not the word, they may without the word be gained by the behavior of their wives;

For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife?

But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things—that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded,

Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

To the woman He said:“ I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be for your husband, And he shall rule over you.”

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more;and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law;to those who are without law, as without law( not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law;to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband.

Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

Let a woman learn in silence with all submission.And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence.

Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says.

Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back,let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

A brother offended is harder to win than a strong city, And contentions are like the bars of a castle.

But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered.

And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says,“ Lord, who has believed our report?”

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.
