它又“作了絆腳的石頭，使人跌倒的磐石。”他們跌倒是因為不順從這道，他們這樣是必然的。

又说：“作了绊脚的石头，跌人的磐石。”他们既不顺从，就在道理上绊跌；他们这样绊跌也是预定的。

又说：“作了绊脚的石头，使人跌倒的磐石。”他们绊跌，因为不顺从这道，这也是预定的。

又说：“作了绊脚的石头，使人跌倒的磐石。”他们绊跌，因为不顺从这道，这也是预定的。

也是：“绊脚石和使人跌倒的磐石。”他们跌倒是因为他们不顺服真道，这种下场早已注定了。

它又“作了绊脚的石头，使人跌倒的磐石。”他们跌倒是因为不顺从这道，他们这样是必然的。

并且是“一块绊脚的石头，使人绊倒的磐石。”他们绊倒是因为不肯信从这话语，而这也是被预定的。

並且是「一塊絆腳的石頭，使人絆倒的磐石。」他們絆倒是因為不肯信從這話語，而這也是被預定的。

且為躓石、為礙磐、以其背道而蹶焉、此亦預定者也、

亦為蹶人之石、礙人之磐、彼不信道者因之蹶焉、彼等亦為此預定也、

又曰：『此為躓石、觸之必蹶。』若輩不順天主之道、宜其蹶也、亦定命耳。

and,“ A stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they disobey the message— which is also what they were destined for.

And,“ It is a stone that causes people to trip. It is a rock that makes them fall.”( Isaiah 8:14) They trip and fall because they do not obey the message. That is also what God planned for them.

and“ A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.” They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.

And,“ He is the stone that makes people stumble, the rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they do not obey God’s word, and so they meet the fate that was planned for them.

and A stone to stumble over, and a rock to trip over. They stumble because they disobey the word; they were destined for this.

and,“ A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this they were also appointed.

and“ A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

and, A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence; for they stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

and A stone to stumble over, and a rock to trip over. They stumble because they disobey the message; they were destined for this.

他必向信靠他的人作聖所，卻向以色列兩家作絆腳的石頭、跌人的磐石；又向耶路撒冷的居民作陷阱和網羅。

我們卻傳揚釘十字架的基督；在猶太人看來是絆腳石，在外族人看來是愚笨的，

如果神有意要顯明他的忿怒，彰顯他的大能，而多多容忍那可怒、預備遭毀滅的器皿，

他們因為有貪心，就用捏造的話，想在你們身上圖利；懲罰他們的，自古以來就沒有鬆懈；毀滅他們的，也不會打盹。

因為有人已經混進你們中間，他們就是早被判定受刑的不敬虔的人。這些人把我們神的恩典當作放縱情慾的藉口，並且否認獨一的主宰我們的主耶穌基督。

所以這石頭，對你們信的人是寶貴的，但對那不信的人，卻是“建築工人所棄的石頭，成了房角的主要石頭。”

因為神不是定意要我們受刑罰（“刑罰”原文作“忿怒”），而是要我們藉著我們的主耶穌基督得著救恩。

這是甚麼緣故呢？因為他們不憑信心，只靠行為。他們絆倒在那絆腳石上，正如經上所記：“看哪，我在錫安放了一塊絆腳石，是絆倒人的磐石；信靠他的人，必不致失望。”

對於滅亡的人，這是死亡的氣味叫人死；對於得救的人，這卻是生命的香氣使人活。這些事誰夠資格作呢？

然而我使你存留，是為了使你看見我的能力，並且在全地上傳講我的名。

西面給他們祝福，對他母親馬利亞說：“看哪！這孩子被立，要叫以色列中許多人跌倒，許多人興起，又要成為反對的目標，

必有人說：“你們要填高，要填高，要修平道路；把障礙物從我子民的路上除掉。”
