因為經上說：「看哪，我把一塊石頭放在錫安－一塊蒙揀選、珍貴的房角石；信靠他的人必不蒙羞。」

因為經上有明文說：『你看，我把一塊蒙揀選而寶貴的房角石放在錫安；信靠他的人決不至於失望。』

因為經上記著：「看哪，我在錫安放一塊蒙揀選的、珍貴的房角石，信靠他的人絕不至於蒙羞。」

經云、我以所選而寶之屋隅首石、置於錫安、信之者不啟羞、

經云、屋隅要石、為我所推選所器重、置於郇城、使信者無愧怍、

如經載云、我以所選所寶之屋隅要石、置於郇城、凡信之者、不致羞愧、

蓋經有之：『我選一隅石、置之西溫上；斯石我所珍、賴之無觖望。』

For in Scripture it says:“ See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”

In Scripture it says,“ Look! I am placing a stone in Zion. It is a chosen and very valuable stone. It is the most important stone in the building. The one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”( Isaiah 28:16)

For it stands in Scripture:“ Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”

As the Scriptures say,“ I am placing a cornerstone in Jerusalem, chosen for great honor, and anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”

For it stands in Scripture: See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and honored cornerstone, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.

For this is contained in Scripture:“ Behold, I am laying in Zion a choice stone, a precious cornerstone, And the one who believes in Him will not be put to shame.”

Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,“ Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”

所以，主耶和華如此說：「看哪，我在錫安放一塊石頭作為根基，是衡量的石頭，是寶貴的房角石，穩固的根基；信靠他的人必不致驚恐。

這是甚麼緣故呢？是因為他們不憑着信心，而是憑着行為，他們正跌在那絆腳石上。就如經上所記：「我在錫安放一塊絆腳的石頭，使人跌倒的磐石；信靠他的人必不蒙羞。」

要親近主，他是活石，雖然被人所丟棄，卻是神所揀選、所珍貴的。

被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，而基督耶穌自己為房角石，

房角石從他而出，橛子從他而出，戰爭的弓也從他而出，每一個掌權的都從他而出。

經上說：「凡信靠他的人必不蒙羞。」

『匠人所丟棄的石頭已作了房角的頭塊石頭。這是主所做的，在我們眼中看為奇妙。』這經文你們沒有念過嗎？」

不要懼怕，因你必不致蒙羞；不要抱愧，因你必不致受辱。你必忘記年輕時的羞愧，不再記得守寡的恥辱。

百姓站在那裏觀看。官長也嘲笑他，說：「他救了別人，他若是基督，是神所揀選的，救救他自己吧！」

「看哪，我所揀選的僕人，我所親愛，心所喜悅的；我要將我的靈賜給他，他必將公理傳給外邦。

看哪，我的僕人，我所扶持、所揀選、心裏所喜悅的！我已將我的靈賜給他，他必將公理傳給萬邦。

主耶和華必幫助我，所以我不抱愧。我硬着臉面好像堅石，也知道我必不致蒙羞。

信我的人，就如經上所說：『從他腹中將流出活水的江河來。』」

製造偶像的都要抱愧蒙羞，他們要一同歸於慚愧。惟有以色列必蒙耶和華拯救，得永遠的救恩。你們必不蒙羞，也不抱愧，直到永世無盡。

看哪，凡向你發怒的都抱愧蒙羞，與你相爭的必如無有，並要滅亡。

聖經都是神所默示的，於教訓、督責、使人歸正、教導人學義都是有益的，

當時，你在異象中吩咐你的聖民，說：「我已把救助之力加在壯士身上，高舉了那從百姓中所揀選的人。

願那些尋找我、要滅我命的，一同抱愧蒙羞！願那些喜悅我遭害的，退後受辱！

他一切的信上都談到這事。信中有些難明白的，那無學問、不堅定的人加以曲解，如曲解別的經書一樣，自取滅亡。

但我要將那記錄在真理之書上的話告訴你。除了你們的天使米迦勒之外，沒有人幫助我抵擋他們。」

「諸位弟兄，聖經的話必須應驗。聖經中，聖靈曾藉大衛的口預先說到那領人來拿耶穌的猶大；

第一要緊的，你們要知道，經上所有的預言是不可隨私意解釋的，

因為他從創世以前，在基督裏揀選了我們，使我們在他面前成為聖潔，沒有瑕疵，滿有愛心。
