So as you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but chosen and priceless in God’s sight,

主是活石，雖然被人棄絕，卻是神所揀選所珍貴的；你們到他面前來，

你們上去找他，找那活的石頭、被人所棄掉、而在上帝看是蒙揀選而寶貴的。

你們來到那活石面前——他雖然被人棄絕，卻是神所揀選、所珍貴的——

主乃活石、為人所棄、而上帝則選而寶之、

主乃靈石、為人所棄、上帝器重、而推選者、爾曹就之、

主如活石、為人所棄、為天主所選所寶者、爾曹就之、

自宜欣然就之。渠乃具有生命之磐石、世人之所擯棄、而天主之所器重也。

As you come to him, the living Stone— rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him—

Christ is the living Stone. People did not accept him, but God chose him. God places the highest value on him.

As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious,

You are coming to Christ, who is the living cornerstone of God’s temple. He was rejected by people, but he was chosen by God for great honor.

As you come to him, a living stone— rejected by people but chosen and honored by God—

And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by people, but is choice and precious in the sight of God,

Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,

unto whom coming, a living stone, rejected indeed of men, but with God elect, precious,

Coming to Him, a living stone— rejected by men but chosen and valuable to God—

To whom coming,[ as unto] a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God,[ and] precious,

coming to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, precious.

The stone which the builders discarded has become the cornerstone.This is the LORD’s work. We consider it amazing!

This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, that has become the cornerstone.And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among people by which we must be saved.”

So you who believe see his value, but for those who do not believe, the stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,

Therefore, this is what the sovereign master, the LORD, says:“ Look, I am laying a stone in Zion, an approved stone, set in place as a precious cornerstone for the foundation. The one who maintains his faith will not panic.

As for the stone I have set before Joshua– on the one stone there are seven eyes. I am about to engrave an inscription on it,’ says the LORD who rules over all,‘ to the effect that I will remove the iniquity of this land in a single day.

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live even if he dies,and the one who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

When Christ( who is your life) appears, then you too will be revealed in glory with him.

You were watching as a stone was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its iron and clay feet, breaking them in pieces.

From Simeon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, have been granted a faith just as precious as ours.

but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.

“ What are you, you great mountain? Because of Zerubbabel you will become a level plain! And he will bring forth the temple capstone with shoutings of‘ Grace! Grace!’ because of this.”

Have you not read this scripture:‘ The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.This is from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?”

but you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life.

You saw that a stone was cut from a mountain, but not by human hands; it smashed the iron, bronze, clay, silver, and gold into pieces. The great God has made known to the king what will occur in the future. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is reliable.”

But Jesus looked straight at them and said,“ Then what is the meaning of that which is written:‘ The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?Everyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, and the one on whom it falls will be crushed.”

For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by his life?

Jesus replied,“ I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Just as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so the one who consumes me will live because of me.

Come back to me, you wayward people. I want to cure your waywardness. Say,‘ Here we are. We come to you because you are the LORD our God.

He will become a sanctuary, but a stone that makes a person trip, and a rock that makes one stumble– to the two houses of Israel. He will become a trap and a snare to the residents of Jerusalem.Many will stumble over the stone and the rock, and will fall and be seriously injured, and will be ensnared and captured.”

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

For just as the Father has life in himself, thus he has granted the Son to have life in himself,

Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never send away.

“ Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I take great delight. I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.

“ Here is my servant whom I support, my chosen one in whom I take pleasure. I have placed my spirit on him; he will make just decrees for the nations.

Jesus said to them,“ Have you never read in the scriptures:‘ The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?

In a little while the world will not see me any longer, but you will see me; because I live, you will live too.

Such trials show the proven character of your faith, which is much more valuable than gold– gold that is tested by fire, even though it is passing away– and will bring praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

Through these things he has bestowed on us his precious and most magnificent promises, so that by means of what was promised you may become partakers of the divine nature, after escaping the worldly corruption that is produced by evil desire.

Pay attention and come to me! Listen, so you can live! Then I will make an unconditional covenantal promise to you, just like the reliable covenantal promises I made to David.
