For this finds favor, if for the sake of conscience toward God a person endures grief when suffering unjustly.

因為人若為了讓良心對得起上帝而忍受冤屈之苦，就會得到恩福。

因為人若在神面前為良心的緣故，忍受冤屈的苦楚，是有福的。

因為人若為了良知要對得住上帝而擔受憂患，喫冤枉的苦，這就是溫雅的行為。

因為人如果為了在神面前良心的緣故，在不公正的苦害中忍受憂患，這是可稱讚的；

緣有對上帝之良、雖受枉而忍憂、則見納矣、

爾受枉、緣上帝而忍之、則可嘉矣、

人具良心畏天主、受枉而能忍、或作人受屈枉因天主而忍之是為可嘉、

凡橫逆之來、如能懷念天主而忍受之、斯可嘉矣。

For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God.

Suppose a person suffers pain unfairly because they want to obey God. This is worthy of praise.

For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly.

For God is pleased when, conscious of his will, you patiently endure unjust treatment.

For it brings favor if, because of a consciousness of God, someone endures grief from suffering unjustly.

For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully.

For this is acceptable, if for conscience toward God a man endureth griefs, suffering wrongfully.

For it brings favor if, mindful of God’s will, someone endures grief from suffering unjustly.

For this[ is] thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.

For this finds God’s favor, if because of conscience toward God someone endures hardships in suffering unjustly.

For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience toward God.

For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.

If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.

“ Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.“ Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in this same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for the sake of conscience.

But all these things they will do to you on account of My name, because they do not know the One who sent Me.

But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be in dread,but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect;and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who disparage your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame.For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong.

All Your commandments are faithful; They have persecuted me with a lie; help me!

Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; Those who would destroy me are powerful, those who oppose me with lies; What I did not steal, I then have to restore.

For this reason I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that He is able to protect what I have entrusted to Him until that day.
