爾為奴者、當凡事敬畏、順服爾主人、不第服善良柔和之主人、亦當服乖僻之主人、

為僕者宜小心翼翼順服其主人、不惟於溫良者為然即於苛刻者亦然。

Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh.

Slaves, obey your masters out of deep respect for God. Obey not only those who are good and kind. Obey also those who are not kind.

Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust.

You who are slaves must submit to your masters with all respect. Do what they tell you— not only if they are kind and reasonable, but even if they are cruel.

Let as many bondservants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and His doctrine may not be blasphemed.And those who have believing masters, let them not despise them because they are brethren, but rather serve them because those who are benefited are believers and beloved. Teach and exhort these things.If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness,

Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ;not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men,

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.

Those who are of a perverse heart are an abomination to the Lord, But the blameless in their ways are His delight.

For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord, But His secret counsel is with the upright.

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.

A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know wickedness.

The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked what is perverse.

Now I, Paul, myself am pleading with you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ— who in presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you.
