我必使斯民、居斯土、昔不矜恤、後必矜恤之、昔不稱之為民、後必稱之為我民、彼稱我為上帝。

主曰、可命名囉亞米、蓋爾曹非我民、我非爾上帝、越至於後、以色列族其數必如海沙、不能斗量籌算也、今我語人曰、爾非我民、異日將稱為永生上帝眾子、

故當毅然至沾恩之位之前、得矜恤恩寵、適合機宜而助我、

何西書載上帝言云、非我民者、我稱為民、非蒙愛者、我稱蒙愛焉、又曰、時有語人者云、爾非我民、異日將稱為永生上帝眾子、

昔爾曹不信上帝、今轉緣以色列人之不信、而蒙矜恤、

昔我嘗謗讟、窘逐、狎侮之、第此妄作、乃由不知不信而然、故猶蒙矜恤、

論及童身、吾未奉主命、惟沾主恩以為忠、自言己意、

余又曰、以色列人、豈未知乎、昔摩西曰、我將子異民、使爾發奮、子頑民、使爾激勵、

以恩則不以功、否、則恩不為恩、以功則不以恩、否、則功不為功、曰、然則以色列人所求者、有不得乎、曰、選民得之、其餘則頑也、
