Lord, Your word is forever; it is firmly fixed in heaven.

So we have the prophetic word strongly confirmed. You will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dismal place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

For I assure you: Until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or one stroke of a letter will pass from the law until all things are accomplished.

For since, in God’s wisdom, the world did not know God through wisdom, God was pleased to save those who believe through the foolishness of the message preached.For the Jews ask for signs and the Greeks seek wisdom,but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles.Yet to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is God’s power and God’s wisdom,

The Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We observed His glory, the glory as the One and Only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

When the Messiah came, He proclaimed the good news of peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.

Like newborn infants, desire the pure spiritual milk, so that you may grow by it for your salvation,

For I didn’t think it was a good idea to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

In His own time He has revealed His message in the proclamation that I was entrusted with by the command of God our Savior:

It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you. These things have now been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Angels desire to look into these things.

since you have been born again— not of perishable seed but of imperishable— through the living and enduring word of God.

This grace was given to me— the least of all the saints— to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches of the Messiah,
