If you appeal to the Father who judges impartially according to each one’s work, you are to conduct yourselves in reverence during your time living as strangers.

爾若籲不以貌視人、依行而鞫之父、則旅居斯世、自當儆惕、

父不偏視人、必依其行為而鞫之、爾既籲父、則寄生斯世、當無日不儆惕、

天主不偏視人、循人之所行而鞫之、爾既稱之為父、則寄生斯世、當無日不警懼、

夫爾等所呼為父者、乃大公無私、按各人行實而施黜陟者也。是宜戰戰兢兢以度羇旅塵世之日。

Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear.

You call on a Father who judges each person’s work without favoring one over another. So live as outsiders during your time here. Live with the highest respect for God.

And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one’s deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile,

And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time here as“ temporary residents.”

If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth;

And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear;

And if ye call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to each man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear:

And if you address as Father the One who judges impartially based on each one’s work, you are to conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your temporary residence.

And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning[ here] in fear:

And if you address as Father the one who impartially judges according to each one’s work, live out the time of your temporary residence here in reverence.

If you call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judges according to each man’s work, pass the time of your living as foreigners here in reverent fear,

Therefore, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, so now, not only in my presence but even more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

And now, may the terror of the LORD be on you. Watch what you do, for there is no injustice or partiality or taking bribes with the LORD our God.”

Peter began to speak:“ Now I truly understand that God doesn’t show favoritism,but in every nation the person who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.

So then, dear friends, since we have these promises, let us cleanse ourselves from every impurity of the flesh and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful. By it, we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,

“ Therefore, you should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, your name be honored as holy.

Dear friends, I urge you as strangers and exiles to abstain from sinful desires that wage war against the soul.

but in your hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy, ready at any time to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.

True enough; they were broken off because of unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but beware,

Therefore, since the promise to enter his rest remains, let us beware that none of you be found to have fallen short.

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.

God is not partial to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of his hands.

For the wrongdoer will be paid back for whatever wrong he has done, and there is no favoritism.

For this reason I kneel before the Father

Jacob said to Pharaoh,“ My pilgrimage has lasted 130 years. My years have been few and hard, and they have not reached the years of my ancestors during their pilgrimages.”

For we are aliens and temporary residents in your presence as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope.

So we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.

So they sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians.“ Teacher,” they said,“ we know that you are truthful and teach truthfully the way of God. You don’t care what anyone thinks nor do you show partiality.

For the LORD your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, mighty, and awe-inspiring God, showing no partiality and taking no bribe.

“ Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.Who among you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him.

I thought,“ How I long to make you my sons and give you a desirable land, the most beautiful inheritance of all the nations.” I thought,“ You will call me‘ My Father’ and never turn away from me.”

but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does what is good, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek.For there is no favoritism with God.

For I will then restore pure speech to the peoples so that all of them may call on the name of the LORD and serve him with a single purpose.

A wise person is cautious and turns from evil, but a fool is easily angered and is careless.

And masters, treat your slaves the same way, without threatening them, because you know that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.

“ Hear my prayer, LORD, and listen to my cry for help; do not be silent at my tears. For I am here with you as an alien, a temporary resident like all my ancestors.

Now from those recognized as important( what they once were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism)— they added nothing to me.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Happy is the one who is always reverent, but one who hardens his heart falls into trouble.

These all died in faith, although they had not received the things that were promised. But they saw them from a distance, greeted them, and confessed that they were foreigners and temporary residents on the earth.Now those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a homeland.If they were thinking about where they came from, they would have had an opportunity to return.But they now desire a better place— a heavenly one. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

For consider how much diligence this very thing— this grieving as God wills— has produced in you: what a desire to clear yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what deep longing, what zeal, what justice! In every way you showed yourselves to be pure in this matter.
