勤守儆醒、爾敵乃魔鬼、譬彼吼獅遍行、欲吞噬人、

如是、基督自獻為眾受刑、祗一獻耳、厥後顯著、不復受刑、欲救所望之者、

心畏主上帝、有人詰爾所望伊何、爾言當前定、而後以溫柔畏懼答之、

今而後、有義賞若冠冕焉、善鞫之主、至於乃日、必以賜余、不第賜余、亦賜凡慕厥昭著者、

自當謹慎、勿以饜飫沉湎、世之憧擾累心、恐其日突然臨爾、如機檻臨宅土之人、

使爾曹恩賜罔缺、望吾主耶穌基督顯日、

人子顯日亦如是、

惟爾事事勤守勞苦、傳福音、盡乃職、

爾受其苦、則報爾安、與我儕共享、迨主耶穌偕其有能之使、由天昭著、

耶和華助以利亞、使於亞哈前、束腰疾行、亦至耶斯烈。

腰束以誠、腎繫以信、

當鼓爾氣、勿愧丈夫、我問爾答。

惟爾束腰、勃然而興、盡述我命、勿畏其威。否則我必使爾驚懼特甚。

當束帶納履、執杖而食、其速如欲遁者、是為耶和華逾越節之禮。
