They were told that their messages were not for themselves, but for you. And now this Good News has been announced to you by those who preached in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen.

“ When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me,

so that the multifaceted wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.

And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised,because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they would not be made perfect.

And He said to them,“ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

And he said,“ Go your way, Daniel, for these words will be kept secret and sealed up until the end time.

But the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word which was preached to you.

For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also did; but the word they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united with those who listened with faith.

God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.

But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will rest and rise for your allotted portion at the end of the age.”

to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with flesh and blood,

Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands,

For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.

‘ And it shall be in the last days,’ God says,‘ That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and your daughters will prophesy, And your young men will see visions, And your old men will have dreams;And even on My male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, And they will prophesy.

Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven;

for our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sakes.You also became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word during great affliction with the joy of the Holy Spirit,

For you recall, brothers and sisters, our labor and hardship: it was by working night and day so as not to be a burden to any of you, that we proclaimed to you the gospel of God.

All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son determines to reveal Him.

And as they were leaving, they began going throughout the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is considered as a forest.

It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, And the light dwells with Him.

in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in genuine love,

“ And I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and of pleading, so that they will look at Me whom they pierced; and they will mourn for Him, like one mourning for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.

And Jesus said to him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a message was revealed to Daniel, who was named Belteshazzar; and the message was true and it concerned great conflict, but he understood the message and had an understanding of the vision.

Therefore, since He has been exalted at the right hand of God, and has received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you both see and hear.

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and have revealed them to infants.

And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

And the cherubim shall have their wings spread upward, covering the atoning cover with their wings and facing one another; the faces of the cherubim are to be turned toward the atoning cover.

But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment:regarding sin, because they do not believe in Me;and regarding righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you no longer are going to see Me;and regarding judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.“ I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them at the present time.But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.He will glorify Me, for He will take from Mine and will disclose it to you.All things that the Father has are Mine; this is why I said that He takes from Mine and will disclose it to you.

In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and strength, The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.And He will delight in the fear of the Lord, And He will not judge by what His eyes see, Nor make decisions by what His ears hear;But with righteousness He will judge the poor, And decide with fairness for the humble of the earth; And He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked.Also righteousness will be the belt around His hips, And faithfulness the belt around His waist.And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, And the leopard will lie down with the young goat, And the calf and the young lion and the fattened steer will be together; And a little boy will lead them.

Certainly the Lord God does nothing Unless He reveals His secret plan To His servants the prophets.

And suddenly a noise like a violent rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.And tongues that looked like fire appeared to them, distributing themselves, and a tongue rested on each one of them.And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with different tongues, as the Spirit was giving them the ability to speak out.

Turn to my rebuke, Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.

The king responded to Daniel and said,“ Your God truly is a God of gods and a Lord of kings and a revealer of secrets, since you have been able to reveal this secret.”

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written:“ But the righteous one will live by faith.”

in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and all around as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

However, there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the latter days. This was your dream and the visions in your mind while on your bed.As for you, O king, while on your bed your thoughts turned to what would take place in the future; and He who reveals secrets has made known to you what will take place.

But how are they to preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written:“ How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”

Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to that particular one who was speaking,“ How long will the vision about the regular sacrifice apply, while the offense causes horror, so as to allow both the sanctuary and the army to be trampled?”

Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others were standing, one on this bank of the stream and the other on that bank of the stream.And someone said to the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream,“ How long will it be until the end of these wonders?”

All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen and welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.

And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.

So, when they had solemnly testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they started back to Jerusalem, and were preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message.

Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them,“ Rulers and elders of the people,

“ It will come about after this That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and your daughters will prophesy, Your old men will have dreams, Your young men will see visions.

So, for my part, I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.

“ Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the wrongdoing, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for guilt, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.

When he had seen the vision, we immediately sought to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.
