It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.

They were told that their messages were not for themselves, but for you. And now this Good News has been announced to you by those who preached in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen.

“ But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.

so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.

And all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised,since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

And he said to them,“ Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.

He said,“ Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.

but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you.

For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened.

while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

But go your way till the end. And you shall rest and shall stand in your allotted place at the end of the days.”

was pleased to reveal his Son to me, in order that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone;

Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands,

these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

“‘ And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.

Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

because our gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction. You know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake.And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you received the word in much affliction, with the joy of the Holy Spirit,

For you remember, brothers, our labor and toil: we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, while we proclaimed to you the gospel of God.

All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

And they departed and went through the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is deemed a forest.

he reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.

For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.They shall spring up among the grass like willows by flowing streams.This one will say,‘ I am the Lord’s,’ another will call on the name of Jacob, and another will write on his hand,‘ The Lord’s,’ and name himself by the name of Israel.”

by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love;

“ And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.

And Jesus answered him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a word was revealed to Daniel, who was named Belteshazzar. And the word was true, and it was a great conflict. And he understood the word and had understanding of the vision.

Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing.

At that time Jesus declared,“ I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children;

And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

The cherubim shall spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.

Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:concerning sin, because they do not believe in me;concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer;concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.“ I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.And his delight shall be in the fear of the Lord. He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear,but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked.Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his loins.The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them.

“ For the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.

And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them.And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you.

The king answered and said to Daniel,“ Truly, your God is God of gods and Lord of kings, and a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery.”

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written,“ The righteous shall live by faith.”

by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God— so that from Jerusalem and all the way around to Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ;

but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream and the visions of your head as you lay in bed are these:To you, O king, as you lay in bed came thoughts of what would be after this, and he who reveals mysteries made known to you what is to be.

And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written,“ How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one who spoke,“ For how long is the vision concerning the regular burnt offering, the transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and host to be trampled underfoot?”

Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others stood, one on this bank of the stream and one on that bank of the stream.And someone said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream,“ How long shall it be till the end of these wonders?”

These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.

And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

Now when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.

While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word.

Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them,“ Rulers of the people and elders,

“ And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.

So I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.

“ Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.

And when Paul had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go on into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.
