As for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living and stricken for the disobedience of my people?They made his grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.Yet it pleased Yahweh to bruise him. He has caused him to suffer. When you make his soul an offering for sin, he will see his offspring. He will prolong his days and Yahweh’s pleasure will prosper in his hand.After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself; and he will bear their iniquities.Therefore I will give him a portion with the great. He will divide the plunder with the strong; because he poured out his soul to death and was counted with the transgressors; yet he bore the sins of many and made intercession for the transgressors.

Yahweh will be King over all the earth. In that day Yahweh will be one, and his name one.

“ Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.“ Know therefore and discern that from the going out of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Anointed One, the prince, will be seven weeks and sixty- two weeks. It will be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times.After the sixty- two weeks the Anointed One will be cut off, and will have nothing. The people of the prince who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will be with a flood, and war will be even to the end. Desolations are determined.

I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.”

But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.It will please Yahweh better than an ox, or a bull that has horns and hoofs.The humble have seen it, and are glad. You who seek after God, let your heart live.For Yahweh hears the needy, and doesn’t despise his captive people.Let heaven and earth praise him; the seas, and everything that moves therein!For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah. They shall settle there, and own it.The children also of his servants shall inherit it. Those who love his name shall dwell therein.

Stand in awe of him, all you descendants of Israel!For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, Neither has he hidden his face from him; but when he cried to him, he heard.My praise of you comes in the great assembly. I will pay my vows before those who fear him.The humble shall eat and be satisfied. They shall praise Yahweh who seek after him. Let your hearts live forever.All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to Yahweh. All the relatives of the nations shall worship before you.For the kingdom is Yahweh’s. He said to them,“ This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled.”

The word of Yahweh of Armies came to me.Yahweh of Armies says:“ The fasts of the fourth, fifth, seventh, and tenth months shall be for the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace.”Yahweh of Armies says:“ Many peoples, and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come;and the inhabitants of one shall go to another, saying,‘ Let’s go speedily to entreat the favor of Yahweh, and to seek Yahweh of Armies. I will go also.’

He said to them,“ Foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!Didn’t the Christ have to suffer these things and to enter into his glory?”Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

Yahweh, the God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before you.Let my prayer enter into your presence. Turn your ear to my cry.For my soul is full of troubles. My life draws near to Sheol.I am counted among those who go down into the pit. I am like a man who has no help,set apart among the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom you remember no more. In the morning, my prayer comes before you.Yahweh, why do you reject my soul? Why do you hide your face from me?I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up. While I suffer your terrors, I am distracted.Your fierce wrath has gone over me. Your terrors have cut me off.They came around me like water all day long. They completely engulfed me.You have put lover and friend far from me, and my friends into darkness.

“ I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.Dominion was given him, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which will not pass away, and his kingdom that which will not be destroyed.

Isaiah said these things when he saw his glory, and spoke of him.

“ Awake, sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is close to me,” says Yahweh of Armies.“ Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; and I will turn my hand against the little ones.

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit,in whom he also went and preached to the spirits in prison,

Save me, God, for the waters have come up to my neck!I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold. I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.I am weary with my crying. My throat is dry. My eyes fail looking for my God.Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. Shame has covered my face.I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother’s children.For the zeal of your house consumes me. The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.When I wept and I fasted, that was to my reproach.When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword to them.Those who sit in the gate talk about me. I am the song of the drunkards.But as for me, my prayer is to you, Yahweh, in an acceptable time. God, in the abundance of your loving kindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.Deliver me out of the mire, and don’t let me sink. Let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.Don’t let the flood waters overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me up. Don’t let the pit shut its mouth on me.Answer me, Yahweh, for your loving kindness is good. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, turn to me.Don’t hide your face from your servant, for I am in distress. Answer me speedily!Draw near to my soul and redeem it. Ransom me because of my enemies.You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor. My adversaries are all before you.Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness. I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; for comforters, but I found none.They also gave me poison for my food. In my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.

Indeed, he says,“ It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel. I will also give you as a light to the nations, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.”

For a child is born to us. A son is given to us; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, on David’s throne, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of Armies will perform this.

You saw until a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet that were of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were broken in pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors. The wind carried them away, so that no place was found for them. The stone that struck the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would happen,how the Christ must suffer, and how, by the resurrection of the dead, he would be first to proclaim light both to these people and to the Gentiles.”

I fell down before his feet to worship him. He said to me,“ Look! Don’t do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.”

Yahweh says to my Lord,“ Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool for your feet.”Yahweh will send out the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule among your enemies.Your people offer themselves willingly in the day of your power, in holy array. Out of the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth.Yahweh has sworn, and will not change his mind:“ You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”The Lord is at your right hand. He will crush kings in the day of his wrath.He will judge among the nations. He will heap up dead bodies. He will crush the ruler of the whole earth.

“ In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, nor will its sovereignty be left to another people; but it will break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it will stand forever.

The Son of Man goes, even as it is written of him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”
