耶穌謂之曰、無知之人、不信諸先知所言、心鈍若此歟、基督如此受害而得其榮、不亦宜乎、乃由摩西始及諸先知、凡經載指己之言、悉為之明解、

告之曰、萬有之主如是云、有人名枝、名枝或作稱為大衛苗裔將由其本處挺然而生、彼將建主之殿、

有何先知而爾祖不窘逐之乎、預言義者將至之人、爾祖殺之、此義者、今爾已賣而殺之、

索之若銀、尋之若寶、

我禁食衣麻蒙灰、向主天主祈禱懇求、

其人賢於帖撒羅尼加人、彼心願受道、日考聖經、欲知此道是否、

惟居耶路撒冷者、及其有司、不知耶穌為基督、亦不知每安息日所讀先知之言、是以擬之以死罪、適應先知所言、雖未見其有當死之罪、仍求彼拉多殺之、既應經所載指之之言、則由木取之下而葬、

亦將震動萬國、萬國之珍寶萬國之珍寶或作萬國所慕者又作萬國之可慕者將至、我將以榮耀充盈此殿、萬有之主已言之矣、
