Then they will say,“ Because they abandoned the LORD their God who brought their ancestors out of the land of Egypt. They held on to other gods and bowed in worship to them and served them. Because of this, the LORD brought all this ruin on them.”

人要回答说：是因为他们离弃了那把他们的列祖从埃及地领出来的耶和华他们的神，去亲近别的神，敬拜他们，事奉他们，因此耶和华使这一切灾祸临到他们。’”

人必說：『因為此地的人離棄領他們祖先出埃及地的耶和華－他們的神，去親近別神，敬拜事奉它們，所以耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。』」

人們會回答，『因為他們背棄曾領他們祖先離開埃及的耶和華——他們的上帝，去追隨、祭拜、供奉別的神明，所以耶和華把這一切災禍降在他們身上。』」

人必回答說：「是因為這地的人離棄了那領他們列祖出埃及地的永恆主他們的上帝，去依附着別的神、而敬拜服事他們；所以永恆主才使這一切災禍臨到他們呀。」』

則將應之曰、昔其上帝耶和華、導其列祖出埃及、彼乃棄之、歸向他神、崇拜奉事之、故降是災於彼、○

則必答曰、昔其上帝耶和華、導其列祖出於埃及、彼乃違逆、反簡他上帝、奉事崇拜、故耶和華降以是災。

則必答曰、緣斯民棄主其天主、昔導其列祖出伊及者、親暱他神、奉事崇拜、故主降以是災、○

People will answer,‘ Because they have forsaken the Lord their God, who brought their ancestors out of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them— that is why the Lord brought all this disaster on them.’”

People will answer,‘ Because they have deserted the Lord their God. He brought out of Egypt their people of long ago. But they have been holding on to other gods. They’ve been worshiping them. They’ve been serving them. That’s why the Lord has brought all this horrible trouble on them.’ ”

Then they will say,‘ Because they abandoned the Lord their God who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt and laid hold on other gods and worshiped them and served them. Therefore the Lord has brought all this disaster on them.’”

“ And the answer will be,‘ Because his people abandoned the Lord their God, who brought their ancestors out of Egypt, and they worshiped other gods instead and bowed down to them. That is why the Lord has brought all these disasters on them.’”

And they will say,‘ Because they abandoned the Lord their God, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and they adopted other gods and worshiped and served them, for that reason the Lord has brought all this adversity on them.’ ”

Then they will answer,‘ Because they forsook the Lord their God, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, and worshiped them and served them; therefore the Lord has brought all this calamity on them.’”

and they shall answer, Because they forsook Jehovah their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath Jehovah brought all this evil upon them.

Then they will say: Because they abandoned the Lord their God who brought their ancestors out of the land of Egypt. They clung to other gods and worshiped and served them. Because of this, the Lord brought all this ruin on them.

And they shall answer, Because they forsook the LORD their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil.

Others will then answer,‘ Because they abandoned the LORD their God, who led their ancestors out of Egypt. They embraced other gods whom they worshiped and served. That is why the LORD has brought all this disaster down on them.’”

and they will answer,‘ Because they abandoned Yahweh their God, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and embraced other gods, and worshiped them, and served them. Therefore Yahweh has brought all this evil on them.’”

When people ask,‘ For what offense has the LORD our God done all these things to us?’ You will respond to them,‘ Just as you abandoned me and served foreign gods in your land, so will you serve strangers in a land that is not yours.’

Cross over to the coasts of Cyprus and take a look. Send someone to Kedar and consider carefully; see if there has ever been anything like this:Has a nation ever exchanged its gods?( But they were not gods!) Yet my people have exchanged their Glory for useless idols.Be appalled at this, heavens; be shocked and utterly desolated! This is the LORD’s declaration.For my people have committed a double evil: They have abandoned me, the fountain of living water, and dug cisterns for themselves— cracked cisterns that cannot hold water.

Your own evil will discipline you; your own apostasies will reprimand you. Recognize how evil and bitter it is for you to abandon the LORD your God and to have no fear of me. This is the declaration of the Lord GOD of Armies.

Then people will answer,‘ It is because they abandoned the covenant of the LORD, the God of their ancestors, which he had made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.They began to serve other gods, bowing in worship to gods they had not known— gods that the LORD had not permitted them to worship.Therefore the LORD’s anger burned against this land, and he brought every curse written in this book on it.The LORD uprooted them from their land in his anger, rage, and intense wrath, and threw them into another land where they are today.’

Then they will say,“ Because they abandoned the LORD God of their ancestors who brought them out of the land of Egypt. They clung to other gods and bowed in worship to them and served them. Because of this, he brought all this ruin on them.”

I will stretch out my hand against Judah and against all the residents of Jerusalem. I will cut off every vestige of Baal from this place, the names of the pagan priests along with the priests;those who bow in worship on the rooftops to the stars in the sky; those who bow and pledge loyalty to the LORD but also pledge loyalty to Milcom;

“ Son of man, while the house of Israel lived in their land, they defiled it with their conduct and actions. Their behavior before me was like menstrual impurity.So I poured out my wrath on them because of the blood they had shed on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols.I dispersed them among the nations, and they were scattered among the countries. I judged them according to their conduct and actions.When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned my holy name, because it was said about them,‘ These are the people of the LORD, yet they had to leave his land in exile.’

All your enemies open their mouths against you. They hiss and gnash their teeth, saying,“ We have swallowed her up. This is the day we have waited for! We have lived to see it.”The LORD has done what he planned; he has accomplished his decree, which he ordained in days of old. He has demolished without compassion, letting the enemy gloat over you and exalting the horn of your adversaries.

“ When you tell these people all these things, they will say to you,‘ Why has the LORD declared all this terrible disaster against us? What is our iniquity? What is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?’Then you will answer them,‘ Because your ancestors abandoned me— this is the LORD’s declaration— and followed other gods, served them, and bowed in worship to them. Indeed, they abandoned me and did not keep my instruction.You did more evil than your ancestors. Look, each one of you was following the stubbornness of his evil heart, not obeying me.So I will hurl you from this land into a land that you and your ancestors have not known. There you will worship other gods both day and night, for I will not grant you grace.’

Yet it happened because of the sins of her prophets and the iniquities of her priests, who shed the blood of the righteous within her.Blind, they stumbled in the streets, defiled by this blood, so that no one dared to touch their garments.“ Stay away! Unclean!” people shouted at them.“ Away, away! Don’t touch us!” So they wandered aimlessly. It was said among the nations,“ They can stay here no longer.”

Whoever found them devoured them. Their adversaries said,“ We’re not guilty; instead, they have sinned against the LORD, their righteous grazing land, the hope of their ancestors, the LORD.”

I have abandoned my house; I have deserted my inheritance. I have handed the love of my life over to her enemies.My inheritance has behaved toward me like a lion in the forest. She has roared against me. Therefore, I hate her.
