But if you turn away from following me, you or your children, and not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them;

“然而，如果你们及你们的子孙离弃我，不守我的诫命和律例，去供奉、祭拜别的神明，

你们或是你们的子孙，若是转去不跟从我，不遵守我赐给你们的诫命和律例，去事奉别的神，敬拜他们，

倘若你們和你們的子孫轉去不跟從我，不守我指示你們的誡命律例，去事奉敬拜別神，

倘若你們和你們的子孫轉去不跟從我，不守我擺在你們面前的誡命律例，去事奉別神，敬拜它們，

「然而，如果你們及你們的子孫離棄我，不守我的誡命和律例，去供奉、祭拜別的神明，

你們或是你們的子孫，若是轉去不跟從我，不遵守我賜給你們的誡命和律例，去事奉別的神，敬拜他們，

但是你們或你們的子孫若轉離了我，不守我的誡命、律例、就是我所擺在你們面前的，反而去服事敬拜別的神，

如爾及子孫、轉而不從我、不守我所示爾之誡命典章、往事他神、而崇拜之、

如爾及子孫、背逆乎我、不守所命之禮儀禁令、奉事他上帝、

如爾及爾子孫背逆我、不守我所賜爾之誡命律例、往而奉事崇拜他神、

“ But if you or your descendants turn away from me and do not observe the commands and decrees I have given you and go off to serve other gods and worship them,

“ But suppose all of you turn away from me. Or your children turn away from me. You refuse to obey the commands and rules I have given you. And you go off to serve other gods and worship them.

But if you turn aside from following me, you or your children, and do not keep my commandments and my statutes that I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them,

“ But if you or your descendants abandon me and disobey the commands and decrees I have given you, and if you serve and worship other gods,

If you or your sons turn away from following me and do not keep my commands— my statutes that I have set before you— and if you go and serve other gods and bow in worship to them,

“ But if you or your sons indeed turn away from following Me, and do not keep My commandments and My statutes which I have placed before you, but you go and serve other gods and worship them,

But if you or your sons at all turn from following Me, and do not keep My commandments and My statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them,

But if ye shall turn away from following me, ye or your children, and not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;

If you or your sons turn away from following Me and do not keep My commands— My statutes that I have set before you— and if you go and serve other gods and worship them,

[ But] if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments[ and] my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them:

“ But if you or your sons ever turn away from me, fail to obey the regulations and rules I instructed you to keep, and decide to serve and worship other gods,

You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Yahweh searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

I will be his father, and he will be my son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men;but my loving kindness will not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before you.Your house and your kingdom will be made sure forever before you. Your throne will be established forever.”’”

It shall happen that as all the good things have come on you of which Yahweh your God spoke to you, so Yahweh will bring on you all the evil things, until he has destroyed you from off this good land which Yahweh your God has given you,when you disobey the covenant of Yahweh your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods, and bow down yourselves to them. Then Yahweh’s anger will be kindled against you, and you will perish quickly from off the good land which he has given to you.”

But if you turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;then I will pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have made holy for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.This house, which is so high, everyone who passes by it shall be astonished, and shall say,‘ Why has Yahweh done this to this land and to this house?’They shall answer,‘ Because they abandoned Yahweh, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and took other gods, worshiped them, and served them. Therefore he has brought all this evil on them.’”

“ Therefore Yahweh, the God of Israel, says,‘ I said indeed that your house and the house of your father should walk before me forever.’ But now Yahweh says,‘ Far be it from me; for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me will be cursed.

If his children forsake my law, and don’t walk in my ordinances;

and he went out to meet Asa, and said to him,“ Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin! Yahweh is with you, while you are with him; and if you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.

When Solomon was old, his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not perfect with Yahweh his God, as the heart of David his father was.For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.Solomon did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, and didn’t go fully after Yahweh, as David his father did.Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the mountain that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the children of Ammon.So he did for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods.Yahweh was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned away from Yahweh, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice,and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods; but he didn’t keep that which Yahweh commanded.

then I will punish their sin with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
