I will establish your royal throne over Israel forever, as I promised David your father when I said,‘ You shall never fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’

Then I will set up your royal throne over Israel forever. I promised your father David I would do that. I said to him,‘ You will always have a son from your family line on the throne of Israel.’

then I will establish your royal throne over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying,‘ You shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.’

then I will establish the throne of your dynasty over Israel forever. For I made this promise to your father, David:‘ One of your descendants will always sit on the throne of Israel.’

你的家和你的國必在我面前永遠堅立，你的王位必永遠穩固。』」

你將生一個兒子，我必使他安享太平，不受四圍的仇敵侵擾。他的名字要叫所羅門，他執政期間，我必使以色列太平安寧。他將為我的名建造殿宇，他要做我的兒子，我要做他的父親，我要使他的王朝在以色列永遠長存。』

我要永遠用慈愛待他，我與他立的約永不更改。我要使他的後裔永無窮盡，讓他的王位與天同存。如果他的後代背棄我的律法，不遵行我的典章，觸犯我的律例，不守我的誡命，我就會因他們的罪用杖懲罰他們，用鞭子責打他們。但我不會收回我的慈愛，也不會背棄我的信實。我必不毀約，也不食言。因我曾憑自己的聖潔向大衛起誓，我絕無謊言。他的後裔必永無窮盡，他的王位必在我面前如日長存，又如天上亙古不變的月亮，永遠堅立。」（細拉）如今，你對你所膏立的王大發怒氣，丟棄了他。你廢棄與他所立的約，把他的冠冕扔在塵土中。

耶和華曾向大衛起了永不廢棄的誓說：「我必使你的後代繼承你的王位。你的後代若守我的約，遵行我教導他們的法度，他們的子孫必永遠坐在你的寶座上。」
