And three times in a year did Solomon offer burnt offerings and peace offerings upon the altar which he built unto the LORD, and he burnt incense upon the altar that[ was] before the LORD. So he finished the house.

Three times a year Solomon sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings on the altar he had built for the Lord, burning incense before the Lord along with them, and so fulfilled the temple obligations.

Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year,[ even] in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.

Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:

Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread:( thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering,[ which is] in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.

Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished.[ So] the house of the LORD was perfected.

And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.

Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be poured out upon this place, and shall not be quenched.

Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.

My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto him, and burn incense.

And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which[ is] the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.

But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to[ his] destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense.And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of the LORD,[ that were] valiant men:And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him,[ It appertaineth] not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither[ shall it be] for thine honour from the LORD God.Then Uzziah was wroth, and[ had] a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar.And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he[ was] leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.And Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house,[ being] a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD: and Jotham his son[ was] over the king’s house, judging the people of the land.

The sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever.
