泰尔王希兰供应了所罗门所需要的一切香柏木、松木和黄金，所罗门王就把加利利一带的二十座城送给他。

我大动工程，为自己建造房屋，栽种葡萄园，

耶和华的殿在所罗门执政第四年的西弗月奠基，在他执政的第十一年的布勒月，即八月全部按规格建成，历经七年。所罗门用了十三年的时间为自己兴建王宫。

凡我眼睛爱看的、心里渴慕的，我都随心所欲，尽情享受。我的心从劳碌中得到欢乐，这是我劳碌所得的回报。

满足于眼前所有的，胜过心中贪想的。这也是虚空，如同捕风。

所罗门王完成耶和华殿的一切工作后，就把他父亲大卫献给耶和华的金银和器具都搬进耶和华殿的库房。
