你先前摔碎的那版，其上的字我要寫在這版上；你要將這版放在櫃中。』於是我用皂莢木做了一櫃，又鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣，手裏拿這兩塊版上山去了。耶和華將那大會之日、在山上從火中所傳與你們的十條誡，照先前所寫的，寫在這版上，將版交給我了。我轉身下山，將這版放在我所做的櫃中，現今還在那裏，正如耶和華所吩咐我的。」（

所羅門祈禱已畢，就有火從天上降下來，燒盡燔祭和別的祭。耶和華的榮光充滿了殿；因耶和華的榮光充滿了耶和華殿，所以祭司不能進殿。那火降下、耶和華的榮光在殿上的時候，以色列眾人看見，就在鋪石地俯伏叩拜，稱謝耶和華說：耶和華本為善，他的慈愛永遠長存！

耶和華吩咐摩西說：「你要將這些話寫上，因為我是按這話與你和以色列人立約。」摩西在耶和華那裏四十晝夜，也不吃飯也不喝水。耶和華將這約的話，就是十條誡，寫在兩塊版上。

因神的榮耀和能力，殿中充滿了煙。於是沒有人能以進殿，直等到那七位天使所降的七災完畢了。

又將約書念給百姓聽。他們說：「耶和華所吩咐的，我們都必遵行。」摩西將血灑在百姓身上，說：「你看！這是立約的血，是耶和華按這一切話與你們立約的憑據。」

耶和華吩咐摩西說：「把亞倫的杖還放在法櫃前，給這些背叛之子留作記號。這樣，你就使他們向我發的怨言止息，免得他們死亡。」

摩西對亞倫說：「你拿一個罐子，盛一滿俄梅珥嗎哪，存在耶和華面前，要留到世世代代。」

當時，雲彩遮蓋會幕，耶和華的榮光就充滿了帳幕。摩西不能進會幕；因為雲彩停在其上，並且耶和華的榮光充滿了帳幕。

「將這律法書放在耶和華－你們神的約櫃旁，可以在那裏見證以色列人的不是；

我也在其中為約櫃預備一處。約櫃內有耶和華的約，就是他領我們列祖出埃及地的時候，與他們所立的約。」

吹號的、歌唱的都一齊發聲，聲合為一，讚美感謝耶和華。吹號、敲鈸，用各種樂器，揚聲讚美耶和華說：耶和華本為善，他的慈愛永遠長存！那時，耶和華的殿有雲充滿，甚至祭司不能站立供職，因為耶和華的榮光充滿了神的殿。

亞倫正對以色列全會眾說話的時候，他們向曠野觀看，不料，耶和華的榮光在雲中顯現。

到了晨更的時候，耶和華從雲火柱中向埃及的軍兵觀看，使埃及的軍兵混亂了；

耶和華的榮耀從基路伯那裏上升，停在門檻以上；殿內滿了雲彩，院宇也被耶和華榮耀的光輝充滿。

耶和華的榮耀停於西奈山；雲彩遮蓋山六天，第七天他從雲中召摩西。耶和華的榮耀在山頂上，在以色列人眼前，形狀如烈火。摩西進入雲中上山，在山上四十晝夜。

「要告訴你哥哥亞倫，不可隨時進聖所的幔子內、到櫃上的施恩座前，免得他死亡，因為我要從雲中顯現在施恩座上。

日間，耶和華在雲柱中領他們的路；夜間，在火柱中光照他們，使他們日夜都可以行走。

立起帳幕的那日，有雲彩遮蓋帳幕，就是法櫃的帳幕；從晚上到早晨，雲彩在其上，形狀如火。
