他把法版放在櫃裏，把槓穿在櫃的兩旁，把櫃蓋安在櫃上。把櫃抬進帳幕，掛上遮掩櫃的幔子，把法櫃遮蓋了，是照耶和華所吩咐摩西的。

「坐在基路伯之上萬軍之耶和華－以色列的上帝啊，你，惟有你是地上萬國的上帝，你創造了天和地。

祭司和利未人將耶和華的約櫃請上來，又把會幕和會幕一切的聖器皿都帶上來。

於是百姓派人到示羅，從那裏將坐在二基路伯上萬軍之耶和華的約櫃抬來。以利的兩個兒子何弗尼、非尼哈也與上帝的約櫃同來。

耶和華作王，萬民當戰抖！他坐在基路伯的寶座上，地當動搖。

二基路伯的翅膀向上張開，用翅膀遮住櫃蓋，臉彼此相對；基路伯的臉朝向櫃蓋。

大衛起身，和跟隨他的眾百姓前往，要從巴拉‧猶大那裏將上帝的約櫃接上來；這約櫃是以坐在二基路伯上萬軍之耶和華的名所命名的。

領約瑟如領羊羣的以色列牧者啊，求你側耳而聽！在基路伯之上坐寶座的啊，求你發出光來！

基路伯翅膀的響聲傳到外院，好像全能上帝說話的聲音。

二基路伯的翅膀要向上張開，用翅膀遮住櫃蓋，臉要彼此相對；基路伯的臉要朝向櫃蓋。要把櫃蓋安在櫃的上邊，又要把我所要賜給你的法版放在櫃裏。我要在那裏與你相會，並要從法版之櫃的櫃蓋上，兩個基路伯的中間，將我要吩咐以色列人的一切事告訴你。」
